Sometimes, the people who make the biggest difference aren’t the ones who grab the spotlight. In “Snoopy Presents: One-of-a-Kind Marcie,” we get to see firsthand how our lovable introvert, Marcie, makes a monumental difference from behind the scenes for both her friends and her community. To train for the school golf championship, Marcie assists Peppermint Patty as her caddie, offering thoughtful and deliberate advice to help her win. Meanwhile, after coming up with brilliant solutions to her classmates’ problems – from hallway traffic jams to lunchtime pizza shortages – Marcie is unexpectedly elected as class president … a role she never wanted.
Suddenly thrust into the spotlight, Marcie struggles to cope with the expectations of her new job and retreats as far from the public eye as possible. As the golf championship begins, Marcie is still in hiding and Peppermint Patty is forced to tee off with Charlie Brown filling in as her caddie.

"Not your typical kid. Not your typical burglars." 20th Century Studios has debuted a second 60-second promo trailer for Home Sweet Home Alone, the new Home Alone remake. Described as a "reimagining of the beloved holiday film franchise." The first trailer was out last month, and this opens in a few weeks on Disney+. Stay away, this looks bad. A couple tries to steal back a valuable heirloom from a troublesome kid who just so happens to be home alone while his family is away on a trip. Archie Yates (from Jojo Rabbit and on "Wolfboy and the Everything Factory") stars as Max, with a cast including Ellie Kemper, Rob Delaney, Aisling Bea, Kenan Thompson, Tim Simons, Pete Holmes, Devin Ratray, Ally Maki, and Chris Parnell. This sitll looks as dumb as any movie can, which is a real shame because if they wanted to live up to the original classic,...

"You really think I'm that stupid?" 20th Century Studios has unveiled an official trailer for a new reboot of Home Alone titled officially Home Sweet Home Alone. This is sort of a remake, but not really, described as a "reimagining of the beloved holiday film franchise." Ugh. A married couple tries to steal back a valuable heirloom from a troublesome kid who just so happens to be home alone while his family is away on a trip. No surprise, this looks awful. They took the original Home Alone, which is indeed a classic, and just made it dumber in every single way. Why?! This just ain't worth it. Here's the official trailer...

Exclusive: Apple TV+ has opted not to order a second season of Mr. Corman, A24’s half-hour schoolteacher comedy-drama created, written, directed, executive produced and headlined by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The series’ final episode, “The Big Picture”, was released earlier today.
Mr. Corman premiered Aug. 6 to mostly solid reviews (70% on Rotten Tomatoes) but did not draw a wide audience on the platform the way other Apple TV+ comedy series have done this past summer, including flagship Ted Lasso, Schmigadoon!, Physical, Mythic Quest and Trying, which have either been renewed or looking good for renewal.
Apple TV+ remains in business with Gordon-Levitt who is executive producing and voicing a lead character in the streamer’s new animated children’s series Wolfboy and the Everything Factory, which dropped all 10 episodes of its first season Sept. 24.
