The Palins have never been known for being particularly gay-friendly -- and unfortunately, it seems as if the youngest member of the family is following in the footsteps of his elders.
A newly-released clip from the Lifetime reality series "Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp" shows Tripp Palin uttering a homophobic slur when mom Bristol and aunt Willow won't let him visit the swimming pool.
The Palin sisters gasp, and then giggle, when three-year-old Tripp's temper tantrum culminates in the tot calling his aunt a "faggot."
Though Bristol does confess that she's "doing a terrible job disciplining Tripp…I know he's going to continue to push the boundaries," her son's behavior doesn't seem too out of step, given his family's history of anti-gay activity. In 2010, Willow sparked controversy when she fired off at a classmate on Facebook, referring to him "so gay" and "such a faggot."

Current TV’s Joy Behar, comedian Judy Gold and I appeared on "The Joy Behar Show" to discuss the ongoing rumors that Ann Curry will be leaving her host chair at the "Today" show, and who should fill her spot beside Matt Lauer.
“I think the frontrunner is Savannah [Guthrie],” I said.
“I like Savannah too,” said Joy. “She’s very nice, she’s lovely, but Hoda seems to have the spark and the gravitas, at the same time, that Meredith Vieira had.”
Interestingly, it was Hoda who was originally asked to fill in for Ann after the reports broke, before Ann decided she wanted to continue hosting until a decision had been made final.
However, one name circulating among NBC insiders is "E! News" host Giuliana Rancic.

We love "The View" co-host Joy Behar. We love her outspokenness. We love her erudite and funny observations. We love her ability to make fun of herself. (She adores Fred Armisen's imitation of her on "Saturday Night Live.") And we love "The Joy Behar Show" on CNN sister network, Hln.
Sadly, according to Deadline, she'll be leaving her hit show at the end of the year!
Behar has been doing her show on Hln since 2099 and it's the second highest rated show on the network, second only to "Nancy Grace." Behar's contract is up this year.
Behar is pulling double duty, with her daytime gig at "The View," where she is under a long term contract, and a night show over at Hln. (Nancy Grace did something similar, though she left her syndicated show "Swift Justice" this past summer to focus on her Hln show and participate in "Dancing With the Stars.

Exclusive: I have learned that Joy Behar will leave Hln at the end of the year. Behar, who has hosted her primetime talk show on the CNN sibling since 2009, is in the final year of her contract there. She has done well on Hln, where her The Joy Behar Show is the second-highest-rated behind Nancy Grace. “It just felt it was time for everyone,” an insider said. Comedian-writer-actress Behar will continue as a co-host of ABC’s The View, where she is under a long-term deal, while also exploring new opportunities, possibly within Hln’s parent company Turner Broadcasting. At Hln, Behar was one of two anchors to juggle a primetime cable talker and a daytime show, along with Grace, who left the syndicated Swift Justice this past summer to focus on her Hln program.

As someone who knows every line of dialogue from The Golden Girls (particularly Bea Arthur’s, whose visage is permanently inked on my left arm because I’m — full-knowingly — out of my mind), it breaks my heart to see Betty White sh*t-talk Bea on The Joy Behar Show. Look, I love Betty. As an American, that is simply the law. And as Rose Nylund on The Golden Girls, she was phenomenal. That’s why she won an Emmy, and that’s why, at 89 years old, her career was deservedly rejuvenated when she began stealing scenes in movies and killed it as host of Saturday Night Live. But while she’s always remained rather mum on the rumors that she and Bea Arthur didn’t get along, apparently now that Bea is six feet under, it’s okay to rehash the details of an one-sided feud, in which Bea apparently...

Paging Joy Behar -- stat! Hln might wanna reconsider moving "The Joy Behar Show" back to its old 9 p.m. perch after less-than-stellar ratings for "Dr. Drew," which hemorrhaged half of its opening-night audience in its second go-round Tuesday night. The Drew Pinsky-hosted talker, which pulled in 401,000 viewers in its Monday-night premiere, lost a whopping 200,00 viewers in Night Two, when it averaged 201,000 total viewers (and only 84,000 viewers in adults 25-54). For a prime-time show on broadcast TV, this would be cause for concern, but...

Former "American Idol" co-host Brian Dunkleman has admitted it was a mistake to leave the Fox ratings juggernaut after the first season.
"I have what many people refer to as 'poor judgment,'" he joked when Joy Behar asked him why he stepped off the "Idol" train during Wednesday's "The Joy Behar Show" on Hln.
Dunkleman, who since leaving "Idol" has had small guest roles in "Ghost Whisperer," and "Las Vegas," and a season as himself in VH1's "Celebrity Fit Club," said departing "Idol" in its infancy was not his smartest move, but he really wanted to be an ...

Newsweek journalist Ramin Setoodeh appeared on The Joy Behar Show Tuesday night where he lamely defended his latest article on gay actors. As you'll see in the clip below, Setoodeh is less than articulate and when Joy asks him about why he thought Hollywood wasn't casting gay actors in lead roles in movies, his response was to shrug his shoulders and say, "I don't know. That's why I wrote the piece."
At least, gay publicist Howard Bragman was hand to offer at least some insight into an issue that is of very real concern to the gay community. (That being said, Bragman wasn't exactly great here either.) That Setoodeh had so little to say about an issue I presume he's thought about a lot, says a great about his gravitas as a journalist. Of course, that was already apparent from his previous work.
What's most frustrating about this whole topic...

HollywoodNews.com: Joy Behar really is one of my heroes.
Was watching her on ‘The View’ this morning and she very politely but forcefully talked about homosexuality with Joel Osteen, the telegenic pastor of Lakewood Church who persists in saying being gay is against the Bible – or at least acting on those feelings.
I’ll try and post video of that later.
First, here is last night’s episode of ‘The Joy Behar Show’ on Hln with guest Jesse Tyler Ferguson of ABC’s ‘Modern Family’!
Among the topics they discussed was this: A new study shows that the Emmy winning ‘Modern Family,’ in which Ferugson and Eric Stonestreet play the gay couple Mitchell and Cam and are raising an adopted daughter, is a favorite of Republicans.
