Not worth to watch in theatre by spending money
The Topic is damn good...
But picturisation, plot, acting of Hero is weak...Sajal is good in terms of acting..
Unnecessary songs at start.
Bad screenplay, Not accurate as per history,It is a more perspective base movie, Cinematography is completely missing, You can tell the topic in more convenient way..... End of movie is Bad.
1st hour is complete time wasting.
2nd half is good.
The supporting actors of Bengali decent is bad.
Thought there were fake accent by them.

A properganda filled, historically incorrect misfire of a film
After seeing the glowing reviews online, I wanted to give this movie a chance. I really thought that this would address both perspectives of the war but to my utter disappointment, it didn't do that. It tried to paint Pakistan as the victim and hero who didn't do anything wrong and India as the villain. It implied that Bangladesh was seperated solely by India. I am not saying that India didn't have a role in the seperation, but to blame India completely is ignorant. We are to be blamed as well (Pakistani). Also I found the joke about the Hindu not being able to eat cow meat distasteful and the tea jokes were overused and unfunny after a while. This movie should have been a wake up call for our wrongdoings but it failed to do that. I gave it a 2 star because there were a few flashbacks which I really enjoyed.

They distorted history to cover their own faults.
Totally disgusting. Waste of time. They just cover there own faults. Even the actors has done a garbage job. They manipulated the history and Blame another third party to Cause the problem. It's a garbage movie I say.

WORST MOVIE EVER? HISTORICALLY INCORRECT!
I wish I could put a 0/10 review. Seems like the makers of the movie wanted to purify the genocide Pakistan did since 1947-1971. LAME!! Making it look like it was India responsible for the war and Pakistan and Bangladesh BOTH had shared faults??? "galti hui kisise bhi. Maafi maang lete hain dono"???? SAY WHAT?? Has any of you ever read an actual history book based on 1971 war? Why should Bangladesh ask for forgiveness? Because we didnt let your army rape and kill more Bangladeshi people? And stop blaming India for everything. The only good thing about this movie I can say is that the new generation of Pakistan wanting to learn about the history of their country. NOTHING ELSE! And by the way, why did Pakistan never ask for forgiveness even after 50 years of our independence? Even the British asked so. It's the least expected from a country after genocide. This movie makes the sacrifices of our freedom fighters look like a joke. I hope our govt. Bans this movie. This movie is antagonistic to the independence of Bangladesh. As Bangladeshi, we are happy to be separated from Pakistan. And we have NOTHING to apologise for. It's Pakistan who should apologise. NOT US! PERIODT!

Lame movie
This movie is historically incorrect. This movie tries to portray that there was a third party involved for dividing the two countries. But the truth is Pakistan was alone responsible for Bangladesh to go against Pakistani atrocities and to ask for freedom. "Jhoothe ilzaam ka bojh?"- What are you trying to establish? Each and every allegation against Pakistan is true. Jinnah wanted Bangladesh to read and write in Urdu, they didn't even bother to help Bangladeshi people when bhola cyclone struck Bangladesh in 1970. And how could you ask us to apologise? Bangladesh was never sorry and we will never be sorry. Rather we are proud of our history. Go and read some books to know about your ancestors' misdeeds. Your ancestors killed 30 lacs people, they forced our own people to leave the country, they brutally raped our women. Our liberation war was not a joke that we would forget so easily. Don't play with historical facts to make money.

Amazing Movie
It was one of the best movies I have ever watched. Yes sure for Indian people it wasn't so fun because main villains were Indians and some raged wrote all of these bad reviews. Even if this movie is historically incorrect, please just enjoy it instead of dragging yourself all the way up to this place and rating it 1 star. Acting was good, it was funny etc. It had it's own share of bad scenes, good scenes but I have personally enjoyed it. I first watched it with friends, then at home, then again and now I am gonna watch it again. I have never watched a movie this much again. Its not worth it to watch it in theatre's again and again but I think you should at least once go and watch it in theatres. I had to cut 3 stars because of historically incorrect views. Overall, I think its a good one.
Propaganda
This movie shows exactly opposite of what actually happened in 1971.
Quality of the movie is not so high. Understandable, as the industry is new. But, tampering the history and stating wrong facts are never acceptable.

Awful
Only if there was an option for zero stars. From my point of view utterly waste of my time. Don't recommend it to anyone even if you have spare time to do nothing then just go to bed and sleep this action will be interesting rather than hearing lame jokes about the Hindu religion no wonder why this Bollywood is dying .

Shame on the movie creators
The movie is a pure piece of propoganda. It distorted historical facts. Totally unfortunate that such a film was ever made in the history.
Shame to entire Pak industry.
The movie starts with unrelatable backgrounds of each character, transforms into a strange unimaginable series of events which is close to impossible.
One can easily sense a targetted motive to defame India for an act of shame done by Pakistan. The producers should be given proper history classes about the how painful entire event was in 1971. How innocent Bengali Hindus are killed and raped by Pakistan army. So many things to point out.
The actors, movie creators and entire crew should be given free mental treatment. Shame on you all.

Everyone should watch this. Atleast once!!!
Nabeel and Fizza have done it again. I wish I had a better way to show my appreciation for this movie but I guess an amateur review will do. To put things in perspective, imagine a Pakistani movie capable of making people in the cinema tear up (a little) and motivating its audience to research instead of accepting what we've been fed. I saw that when I turned my head during end credits. A lady wiping her watery eyes and a gentleman beside her just... pondering. That's what a movie should do. That's what our cinema has grown into. For once, I saw what a group of our talented film makers and their crew are capable of doing.
Friends of mine who wanted to walk out on ETERNALS couldn't keep their eyes of the screen (Except a few who had other priorities). Humour and comic timing was on point but they could've eased up on the "chaaye" jokes. One too many.
I don't consider myself a "critique" since I always end up appreciating the "effort" rather than noticing all those little mistakes but those who try, it'll be even harder for them to find any ambiguities. Final theatrical performance was nothing short of those in Britain Got Talent that are given a Golden Buzzer.
I know if I watch it again, I'll end up noticing things which I didn't the first time. Never has been the case with any Pakistani movie so far.
And Bilal Abbas and Sajal. Just WOW. Bilal is not just another actor that our industry has been blessed with. He's something else. Yet somewhat underrated. I hope this movie changes that perception. And of course, I can't add anything to what Sajal has done. We all know what she's capable of.
No unnecessary soundtracks. Beautiful composition by Shuja Haider. Worth every Rupee.
Lastly, if any of you want to enjoy the 2 hrs of your life without feeling guilty of wasting your time, this movie is for you. I truly hope every Pakistani sees it. Easiest would be to launch it on Netflix. Which, I presume, is not that easy.

Fun to watch with family and friends
It is really a good movie which you can easily watch with your family and friends . The movie talks about a sort of a taboo topic or lesser talked about the 1971 Dhaka Fall which by the way none of any Pakistani movie has showed or talked about . A really good way shown to start mending ties between 🇵🇰🇧🇩 . Worth Watching & a good movie to start the cinemas .

The ever lasting story of Pakistan's cinema
An extremely unconventional approach to the story, very well written but poorly edited first half. An intriguing cast and screenplay keeps the audience glued to their seats for the film duration. Surprise in my experience someone has preformed as compelling as Sajal Ali. Bilal Abbas is a treat to watch. A realistic approach to the storyline, supporting cast including manzar sehbai are the necessary elements on board. A film of a lifetime to celebrate love, emotion and the act of remembering the saddening partition of east and west pakistan.

Family time - Serious rview of Hisroey
A v.gud effort. It is a must watch family time. Revealing true side of 1971 trauma & lies poisoned among both Bengali & Pakis. Somuch brotherhood lost between 5 decades.
Epic movie but few missing aspects
It was great movie but few aspects were although missing , You can't blame only Indian's for the separation of Bangladesh it was also Pakistan fault to we didn't focused on East Pakistan (Bangladesh) i wouldn't say that it was a fake story but yeahits a Pakistani film industry movie so they don't show up there faults history reflects differently everywhere and if it will be an Indian movie so definitely Pakistanis will be the culprit . Overall good acting by the film cast .

An amazing watch
The movie that puts pakistani cinema back into business. I went into the theatre with little to no hope for the movie judging by the previous pakistani movies, but this movie proved me wrong. It beautifully portrays the tension between bangaldesh and pakistan while rightfully identifying the culprit behind it.
