Sex & Nudity

  • A main topic of the entire show is sex and sexual relations between the students.
  • SEASON 2 contains frequent uses of sexual innuendos such as "CUMLORDS".
  • While there is no explicit nudity other than those images, the show contains multiple implied sex scenes, some brief and two longer scenes. While the camera remains on the characters faces, it's clear what is happening off screen. No nudity is shown at all
  • Brief rear nudity, nothing overly graphic
  • A LOT of explicit references and extremely explicit dialogue and discussion among teenagers. Nothing that most teenagers haven't heard at school or with friends before
  • S2 E1: A quick sex scene with brief thrusting and crude sexual humour involving strong sexual language such as "cumlord" etc throughout.
  • S2 E4: Sex scenes involving cunnilingus and male to male masturbation with sexual dialogue.
  • S2 E5: A brief cunnilingus sex scene with no nudity shown, as well as a comical scene with teen males doing sexual dances.
  • S2 E6: Cunnilingus sex scene with no nudity.
  • Female and male genitalia are showed for about 15 seconds explaining the dangers of unprotected sex.

Violence & Gore

  • Students engage in physical fights but nothing too serious
  • A character gets her nose punched. Blood is shown. Nothing too graphic.
  • A character is shown with blood on their face. Earlier it is implied why that happened. Slightly graphic.

Profanity

  • Frequent uses of fuck, shit, bitch. Some uses of cunt, asshole, dick.
  • Season 2: 20 uses of "cunt" are used throughout the season (a sequence where it is shockingly used 12 times in under 10 seconds in Episode 3).
  • SEASON 2: (E3 - 12 uses of "cunt"), (E4 - 2 uses of "cunt"), (E5 - 2 uses of "cunt"), (E6 - 1 use of "cunt"), (E7 - 1 use of "cunt"), (E8 - 2 uses of "cunt") as well as moderate uses of "fuck", "shit" and "faggot" throughout the season.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Teenagers are seen drinking, partying, and taking drugs throughout the series.
  • S2 E4: All characters take mushrooms and are seen hallucinating for the entire episode.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • S2 E7: A character takes pills for a self-admistered abortion, she is seen suffering the whole episode.
  • Intense and emotional scenes of bullying
  • We learn origins of the name Ca$h - 'Child of an addict and self harmer'

Sex & Nudity

  • A sex toy was gripped onto a basketball hoop
  • A female teacher is falsely accused of having a sexual relationship with a female student.

Violence & Gore

  • A girl stabs her abusive father - though the stab isn't shown but the girl walks out with blood on her face
  • An intoxicated girl is taken into a car against her will and is unconsensually touched, before getting her hair ripped out when trying to escape

Profanity

  • Main character has a nickname named "Map Bitch"

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A girl who is drunk is being taken advantage of and comes to while being driven to and unknown location. It is obvious the men in the car intend to sexually assault her. She escapes and is chased through the woods. This whole scene can be very intense and possibly triggering.
  • A girl comes home to her father while he is on drugs. They make him erratic and he attacks her. The scene is long and can be upsetting or triggering.
  • A girl is shown getting a knife and waiting for her father to come home. When he does, he is on drugs and breaks into her room and attacks her. We don't see the attack but hear as he enters her room and she screams. Later, she's shown covered in blood, implying she stabbed her father. This can be upsetting and triggering.
  • This show details with intense issues, such as assault, drug use, racism, bullying, and mental illness. But nothing is overly graphic or prolonged.
  • In one episode, an autistic character goes into sensory overload when out on a date. This could be uncomfortable or intense to viewers who experience this/family of viewers who experience this. The same character is also shown having a realistically portrayed autistic meltdown in a later episode, which is handled with sensitivity but could also be intense for the reasons described above.
