Jade tells Onyx that her body language indicates Onyx is lying, and says that she doesn't trust Onyx. Onyx explains that since she was raised by the Shadows, she subconsciously manipulates her body language. She begs Jade for the chance to learn how to be a human being rather than a Shadow,
Cassandra wonders if Jade is one of the heroes now. Jade then tells Tigress and Orphan that either both prisoners are telling the truth, or they're very good at lying. She says that it's up to Tigress, and she should get better at covering her tracks if she's going to live with Lian. As Tigress suggests that Jade should move in to the house to keep Lian safe, Black Spider listens from the shadows.
At the Tower, Gar lays in his bed staring at the ceiling. He finally brings up a photo on his phone showing a Superboy memorial, then puts the phone down and goes back to staring.

Cassandra tells Tigress to take her back to Santa Prisca, rather than let Orphan die. Onyx insists that it's still some kind of set-up, and Tigress tells them that they're both coming. Jade tells her that when she was a Shadow, Shiva was raising her own daughter to be the ultimate assassin. The mother had her daughter's vocal chords severed as an infant, and Jade recognized the scars on Orphan's throat.
Jade figures that Shiva was bluffing about killing her daughter, to lure the others to Santa Prisca. Cassandra points out that Vandal murdered Olympia, so Shiva might be just as serious about killing her offspring. Jade refuses, and Tigress lets her out.
