The end or the beginning??

Peggy's plea for help to Roslyn is difficult to understand, as it comes out of nowhere and the timing is off. Denny's robbery attempt is random, and the show's writing lacks consistency. High Desert uses artistic license and logistical impossibilities to justify poorer writing, leaving viewers with a disappointing project. The show has been running in circles for the past three episodes, draining early promise and leaving the audience with a regrettable failure. Episode 7 of High Desert begins with Peggy being pursued by the Gatchi brothers, who believe Bruce and the firm will gain significant money through a DNA match. Carol's teenage daughter Cooper discovers Dona's cadaver, while Denny reverts to bad habits and robs a store. Peggy calls him and confesses her desire to give him the benefit of the doubt. The story highlights the challenges faced by Peggy and her family in navigating the complexities of high desert. Denny proposed reuniting Peggy and her partner, but Peggy has become conflicted. The robbery is successful, but Denny and his partner suffer physical damage. Carol calls Peggy with a new revelation, while Owen and his mates launch dummies from the cannon his mother brought for Pioneertown. Tammy struggles with her boob job and needs to be taken to the emergency room. Peggy confronts Nick and Leo about Dona's body at the spa, who want to see the body first and pay her the reward. Peggy is uncertain if they will keep their word. Peggy invites her siblings Stewart and Dianne to Bruce's office to confirm her life has been restored. However, Bruce accidentally uses a gun to shoot cars in the parking lot, leaving his wife heartbroken. Dianne and Stewart take off without hesitation. Peggy takes the gun from Bruce and shares that she has found Dona's body. She asks Bruce and William to keep quiet if the police come to investigate. Peggy returns home to find Denny cooking, expressing her desire for him to leave. They discuss Ethan, their son who isn't on speaking terms with Peggy but worships Denny. At night, Arman and Heather break into Peggy's house, holding her at knifepoint as they declare their intention to rob her house. Peggy promises to recover their losses in two days, but Bob has skipped town due to fear of danger. Heather inflicts a cut on Peggy's breasts, which is concerning for a haemophiliac. Peggy attacks Heather, causing serious damage to Roslyn's room. Arman manages the situation and holds Peggy at gunpoint. They take them to Denny's trailer, where he and his partner are counting the robbery cash. Arman and Heather leave with the money and trailer, vowing to return the next day for more. Ethan informs Peggy that Customs has apprehended Denny and he will be jailed again. Peggy is heartbroken and runs into Roslyn's room, clinging to her wardrobe for comfort.
