- Five years earlier Dean Scott was found dead of shot-gun wounds and suicide was the verdict. Now ex-hooker Alice Hill tells the team she was at Dean's house at the time and believes he was murdered. Mike Barnes, Dean's shifty partner, rooked his widow Pam and turns out to be an ex-bank robber, who used the loot to start the business. The search switches to the other robbers, one of whom has gone straight and the other - who fought with Dean the night before the death because he was seeing Pam - is under witness protection. The missing loot is found but the fact that Pam and Alice already knew each other complicates the murder theory.—don @ minifie-1
- The UCOS team re-opens the case of Dean Scott, a real estate investor who was deemed to have committed suicide in the foyer of his luxurious home. An escort recently told the police that she had seen someone lurking about the place so DAC Strickland asks for the case to be re-opened. Scott's wife also doesn't believe he committed suicide and insists he was murdered. Scott had made his fortune building a huge time share resort and in checking on one of his former business partners, Mike Barnes, UCOS literally strikes gold: he was part of a gang that was part of a still unsolved gold heist from 1985 and whose fingerprint was the only piece of forensic evidence ever found. But was he responsible for Dean Scott's death in any way?—garykmcd
