Don't' get worked up by the promising title
If you think this documentary will feature instructions and practice moves how to fight by watching this short documentary, you're in for a disappointment. Instead, we see Michael Copon and Randy Coutoure preparing to do their fight scene in "The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a warrior" and fool around on set.
Copon got the opportunity to add his own flips and kicks (including the butterfly) to the fights. Stunt Coordinator Mo Marais says Mike picked up the choreography quicker than any other actor he's ever worked with. Meanwhile, Randy Couture as the evil Sargon has a totally different fighting style. He explains the difference between movie fights and real fights - which is of course what he's known for, being the Ultimate Fighting championship winner.
Couture is about three times the size of Copon, which is good as it actually looks like the hero is going up against impossible odds (the complete opposite was the case in the original Scorpion King movie). To make up for this, Mike add-libs some shtick for the camera about drinking 'Randy-ade', a special protein mix that will make you look like Randy Couture. What a kidder. Strangely enough, when he tries to get the real Randy to join in with the gag, the big guy starts talking about his age. Apparently they were broadcasting on two different wave lengths at the time. So much for learning how to fight like an Akkadian, I guess.
