Actress Demi Moore, 61, celebrated her daughter Scout Larue Willis’ 33rd birthday with a family outing by the river on July 20. The event, which included Moore’s other daughters, Rumer and Tallulah Willis, was documented in social media posts shared by family members.
Rumer, 35, posted a series of photos on Instagram capturing the day’s festivities. One image showed Moore, 61, spending time with her 15-month-old granddaughter, Louetta. The Ghost star sported a white bikini paired with a Gap baseball cap and Birkenstocks, impressing fans with her flawless body.
Louetta wore a pink swimsuit with white sandals and a patterned hat.
The birthday celebration appeared to involve various water activities, with Rumer dubbing it “River Monsters” in her Instagram caption. She also mentioned sustaining a leg bruise from her first attempt at trick riding on a horse.
Scout was seen enjoying the river on a foam mat with a friend, wearing a floral bikini.

River Monsters Came To An End For An Amazing Reason

While scripted TV tends to get more attention than unscripted programming, the executives gathered in Cannes this week for the 60th MIPTV international television market know that formats like reality TV and game shows help pay the bills.
And with budgets for high-end TV tightening worldwide, making more money off of those formats has never been as important as it is now.
For giant ITV Studios, home to a 90,000-strong catalog of more than 250 titles, including global formats Love Island, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and The Voice, extending established brands across different platforms has become a key to future growth.
ITV Studio veteran Ruth Berry, giving MIPTV’s Media Mastermind keynote on Tuesday, talked up how the group has pushed its non-scripted shows into the multiverse, with I’m a Celebrity jungle trials in Fortnite and metaverse extensions of The Voice.

ITV Studios has forged a Global Partnerships division combining formats and finished tape, helmed by the newly-promoted Ruth Berry, who detailed her new role, the Plimsoll acquisition and Fast opportunities.
Berry said the move to rebrand Global Distribution and Global Entertainment is “emblematic of the inspiration for us to partner in a broader, deeper way with more content across our portfolio.”
“There is a fair amount of overlap in our clients looking at both formats and scripted,” Berry told Mip TV.
“If we can bring that all together we can really focus these conversations and look at how we can leverage the breadth and scale of our portfolio with what our buyers need.”
Berry, who now oversees a 90,000-strong catalog with more than 250 formats, took on the newly combined finished tape/formats role late last year, at which point Arjan Pomper departed the business. Soon after, former Film and TV...

New tech for producers, fresh platforms weighing in and a generation of environmentally conscious viewers have made natural history programming hot. With Oscar-winning filmmakers finding new ways to tell stories, and wildlife TV-friendly 4K TV sets shipping in greater numbers, insiders say we are headed into a golden age of natural history.
“The natural history genre is just booming, when you think about the number of projects announced that are out in the field, and coming to fruition,” says Geoff Daniels, executive vice president, global unscripted entertainment, at National Geographic Channels, and a former general manager of the Nat Geo Wild cable net. “Where the technology is leading us is allowing us to set the bar even higher in terms of cinematic craft and storytelling.”

Here’s the official description for the series, which will premiere April 21: In “Jeremy Wade’s Dark Waters,” Wade spotlights the bizarre, the weird and the mysterious as he investigates baffling, unsolved mysteries. I’ve got a trailer for an insanely intense-looking documentary called Last Breath. It tells the remarkable and harrowing story of a diver who ends up being trapped under the ocean without any oxygen or connection to the world above.
This looks like one crazy-ass experience of survival that looks like a complete and utter nightmare. What a scary experience this must have been for everyone involved. Just watching this trailer gave me a bit of anxiety.
The diver’s name is Chris Lemons, he was 262 feet underwater when his umbilical cable was snagged and severed. This left him with only an emergency air tank… with only 5 minutes of air to breath. The rescue team was 30 minutes away. Yikes!
Here’s the synopsis:
In 2012, diver Chris Lemons lay trapped under the North Sea. His umbilical cable was completely severed, leaving him without breathing gas or any connection to the dive bell.

Africa’s Okavango Delta will be seen in 8K after Nhk greenlit a feature documentary on the African wildlife oasis.
“Okavango” will be made by Icon Films, the U.K.-based shingle behind Animal Planet hit series “River Monsters,” alongside veteran natural history filmmaker Brad Bestelink’s Botswana-based Natural History Film Unit.
Natural history filmmakers are among the first to experiment with, and embrace, the possibilities offered by 8K . Japanese pubcaster Nhk has also been a keen advocate of the emerging ultra high definition format.
The “Okavango” team will film a seasonal cycle on the delta, using aerial and underwater photography. The final film will be told through the eyes of indigenous river people of the Okavango over 14 months.
“Revealing the epic beauty of both the people and animals of the Okavango is a great subject to be shooting in 8K,” Bestelink said. “It’s a time to see it in its full aesthetic glory.

A 14-year-old western lowland gorilla named Zola has become an internet star after a short video surfaced of him dancing in a kiddie pool at the Dallas Zoo. The zoo schedules “enrichment sessions” for its animals in order to “enhance environment” and “ them with mental and physical stimulation to increase natural behaviors,” according to NPR. On this week’s River Monsters, biologist and extreme angler Jeremy Wade goes on the hunt of a mysterious underwater beast — which has been inflicting terrifying puncture wounds on fishermen. Wade travels to the volcanic South Pacific islands after reports of the unknown monster attacking the men while they worked out at sea. As they have spent their lives fishing, the men are no stranger to the usual suspects that lie under the waves — like barracuda and trevally with their razor-sharp teeth. But they have been unable to identify the beast at the center of the attacks. Watch footage from...read more...

In the clip, Wade travels out in a canoe with local fisherman, catching a brief glimpse of the fish that has been leaping from the water and spearing fishermen and tourists at random, causing injury paralysis and death. Animal Planet's most-popular series, "River Monsters," was renewed for an eighth season before it even started its seventh season in early April. So it's no surprise its latest season premiere was the most-watched premiere (in live+3 ratings) ever on the network. The show follows Jeremy Wade, an "extreme angler" as he travels around the world, searching for and learning about scary and dangerous aquatic creatures that may or may not be killing people. Episodes are framed as murder mysteries, so it's basically aspiring to be "Animal Planet"'s NCIS, as the network's president, Marjorie Kaplan, once told me. Why is it so popular? Let's look at clips from last season -- and a few from this season -- to see just what the appeal of "River Monsters" and its host is. Now I suspect many of you are wondering: What is a lamprey, exactly? I wasn’t sure myself, I only knew it was something like an eel. Once I read the Wiki entry I realized this is actually a pretty nightmarish-sounding fish: It’s described as jawless, and “the...

The whole point of River Monsters — one of the highest-rated shows on Animal Planet — is to show what evil can lurk in some of the world’s most dark and mysterious waterways. But it also focuses light on what makes river fishing so exciting for many thrill-seeking anglers.
On tonight’s edition of Inside TV on EW Radio, the executive producer of River Monsters will talk about the dangerous practice of noodling, a type of fishing that involves reaching one’s hand into holes where catfish lay their eggs. The goal is to nab the little bugger — but sometimes, a tug-of-war may ensue.

“There is absolutely nowhere to run, and no one is safe.”
Starring Shannen Doherty (Beverly Hills 90210), Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future) and Jason Brooks (Days of Our Lives), Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys is directed by James Cullen Bressack (Hate Crime, Pernicious) and sees the cast battle lampreys – eel-like fish with huge teeth and funnel-shaped mouths – after they slide their way into the city’s sewer system and start terrorizing the residents of a small Michigan town.
