- Suspicions arise when Terence wants to sell Ari his share of Ari's old agency. Drama goes on an audition for the new "Melrose Place." Eric goes to the doctor after receiving some disturbing news.
- Two unexpected arrivals have an unexpected effect on Drama during his audition for Melrose 2009. Drama finds that he has had a fight with the director in the past (the director's crew kept talking in the middle of Drama's audition & Drama walked out) & feels that this was a set up from the beginning. He blames Lloyd for the muck up. Then he finds out that he is auditioning against an ex-superman (Dean Cain).
Drama has a full blown melt-down, he runs out of the audition room, he has a panic attack & pees himself and calls Vince, who comes to pick him up. Vince takes Drama to the hospital, where he is told that he has had a minor heart attack. Lloyd calls Drama to let him know that the director still wants to see him. Drama needs a doctor's note & will need to pass a physical. Drama says he needs to reassess his life and passes.
Ari smells a rat when Terrance unexpectedly offers Ari the chance to buy him out. Terrance walks out holding out on an offer of $ 100 M for 24 hours only. Terrance that the agency's commissions on Friends and Seinfeld alone would keep them in profits for decades. Barbara feels it's expensive, but Andrew is supportive as it will make Ari the biggest agency in the world. Terrance has major clients in music, publishing, and sports, which is lucrative. Question is why Terrance is selling it and why did he approach Ari. Terrance hates Ari. Ari tries to hire his private detective to spy on Terrance, but he refuses citing "a conflict of interest".
Ari meets Terrance's wife, Melinda, whom he used to represent and asks her why Terrance wants to sell. Melinda tells Ari that she is no longer on the inside. Terrance is having an affair & she is the one who hired the private detective to spy on Terrance.
Ari confronts Terrance & tells him that he is headed for divorce & nobody will pay top dollar for his agency in the middle of an ugly divorce battle. Terrance agrees to a deal at $75 M.
Eric learns some unsavory news from Drama about his latest fling. Drama claims that he was with the same girl 4 months ago she ended up giving Drama a STD. This sends E to the doctor much to Scott Lavin's glee with the visit prompting Eric to make a choice about his social life of not going around having 1 nightstand with random girls in LA. Thankfully E is still disease free and hasn't caught anything. E decides to get Sloan back. E says he wants to be in a relationship and in a relationship with Sloan. He wont take no for an answer from her.
As Jamie-Lynn prepares to leave for New Zealand, they discuss how they are going to make long distance work. Turtle promises to call 10 times a day and even visit her in New Zealand. Jamie sees a Facebook friend request from the UCLA girl Brooke (Jana Kramer), for Turtle & is angry. She feels that Brooke is Turtle's back up for when she is away in NZ. Jamie is very emotional and says she will be OK if Turtle wanted to see other people while she is gone. She says "I Love you" to Turtle.
