- If you're going to do role play, you have to do it completely, Belle explains to us as she lays out martinis in her black wig. Every detail must be just so.
There's a buzz at her door and it's her client, Stuart. She's wearing pink gloves and an Asian-y muu muu. She explains to us that she's actually really nervous, he's spent as much time thinking about this as the average girl does about her wedding.
He heads into the shower and checks that she knows the script. He comes out of the shower in a white tux and they begin re-enacting a Bond movie in which she's a Russian woman and he's James Bond. She fake drugs him and he mock resists as she has her way with him.
Later, when they're done, he compliments her on getting the details right and enjoying it. He wants to book another evening and asks if she's seen "The Prisoner."
Then it's off to the opera with Duncan. First, they stop by Ben's bar, where he's not super friendly. He brushes off Ben's wine recommendation and Belle glowers at him.
Byron stops by, explaining that Bambi's with a client. He asks Duncan if he thinks it's confusing going out with a prostitute. Hannah hustles Duncan out of there.
At intermission, they realize that neither of them likes the opera. He only brought her because in her book she complains about never getting to see the second half of a show because clients always want to leave. They confess they both hate it. Hannah says she's seen the first half of tons of operas and Duncan thinks that must mean the lobby they're in is full of hookers. They bet on a game of "guess the escort." Duncan picks a blonde floozy with an older man but Hannah goes for a more average looking woman. They wait to see who doesn't stay for the second half. Hannah's right.
Ben and Byron share a drink. Byron asks about him and Hannah. Then it's shot time.
Duncan and Hannah go to a swanky bar. She's bringing wine back to the table when she runs into James Bond. Duncan sees their interaction and asks who the guy is. She tells him he's a client and Duncan is fascinated. They switch seats.
It's the first time Hannah's ever run into a client. Duncan won't leave it alone, saying the guy is no Daniel Craig. Hannah and the guy head to the bar at the same time and Duncan fumes watching them talk. Bond tells her how much he's looking forward to seeing her again and everything is going perfectly fine until Duncan comes over and interrupts, telling James Bond that Hannah is his girlfriend and she's not at work right now.
Hannah walks away, thanking Duncan for just losing her a client. At the coat check they run into very sauced Ben and Byron, who tell Duncan they've written a book, too. It's called "Duncan is a Prick." It's illustrated. With a schoolboy's cartoon of a prick.
Hannah tells Ben she never interferes in his relationships like this. Hannah and Duncan leave. As they do, Hannah tells Ben this isn't over.
In the cab ride home Hannah's staring out the window when Duncan takes her hand and she puts her head on his shoulder.
The next day, Hannah finds Ben hung-over at work. He says he doesn't remember much and she's looking for an apology. He tells her she's been acting like someone else since the book came out and she should remember who her real friends are. He tells her he gives up with her. She leaves yelling, that she's had enough and gives up on him, too.
