Captivating story that you never know where its going to go
As my intro into the D&D world outside of video games this series has become part captivating story/ Part D&D game.
Even if you are not into D&D the narrative is worth the listen alone !

Well written actual play
The plot is amazing and well thought out, with genuine player driven consequences balanced by things always happening in the background. The players are enthusiastic, taking the game seriously while still having fun. Its always a treat when someone does something off the rails and the DM not only rolls with it (the very best of 'Yes and') but manages to incorporate it into the larger world. The sound design is amazing, but not overly done. You'll never forget it's an actual play.
Absolutely superb, prepare to become totally hooked
Incredible voice actors and a wonderful storyline, this D&D podcast has everything going for it. Whether you are into D&D or not, I highly recommend giving The Lucky Die a try - you will be captivated from the start. Prepare to laugh and cry, this truly is a rollercoaster ride.
The best D&D podcast I've ever heard
I've been playing D&D for nearly 20 years and I've never come across a DM as skilled as Vee. Her character voices (using different accents, pitches, and even speech impediments) are far better than any I've ever heard. That's not to mention the cast of characters and guest voices that appear and grow in the story. As the story goes on, the characters grow with it and we grow and learn with them. If you don't give this story a chance you're definitely missing out on not only a good story, but a good community because not only is this podcast amazing, but so are the fans
And the side story is funny as hell so get on that too.

Superb world building and heart to spare
I liked it. The world is so big, so expansive, so lived in. I love falling into it for hours on end. High-quality sound and music bring the world to life and it adds so much to the characters. Don't be intimateded by the huge backlog, just turn it on during you commute and soon you'll be in love with all of it. Check it out.
