Sex & Nudity

- Both of the titular characters are naked for the entire movie. However because they are monsters this is not inappropriate.
- Because this is a PG-13 movie, all male monsters had to pass through CGI castration.
Violence & Gore

- Frequent strong science fiction creature action violence throughout involving detail as well as the regular uses of axes.
- Kong rips a dead hyena in half to intimidate it's pack. Kong gets covered in guts and blood. Booth are green and have a slime kind of look.
- Godzilla defeats another monster by grabbing it and using his atomic breath in the monsters mouth after that it blows up.
- We breafily see the lower half of a cadaver laying on a pud of water with some blood on the clothes and on the water.
- A man gets crushed by one of Scylla's legs when it's rampaging in Rome. It happens in a split second and it's very easy to miss.
- Dead apes in a field are seen from afar.
- Plenty of violence and fighting scenes.

- Occasional uses of "shit", "piss", "bloody hell", 'ass", "damn", "hell" and "god".

- There are not that many jump scares, but you will see it coming.
- Some monsters may be terrifying for young viewers to look at.

Violence & Gore
- Skar King is frozen and gets violently attacked by Kong offscreen. You can see hands, and bones into frame though.
- One human character gets eaten by a tree during his arguing, no blood was shown.
- Kong rag dolls Suko (mini Kong) to take down three apes that were attacking him. Despite violently throwing Suko at the other apes, that is no serious aftermath and the scene is played for comedic effect.
Profanity
- Around 10 to 15 uses of "shit" are featured. There are many other cuss words, but it isn't that bad.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- A friendly ape is chucked into a lava river by Skar King.
- That are a couple of scenes that depict Skar King and his goons mistreating other apes. Skar King forces Shimo to attack against it's will. And, in Skar King's lair, there are some decapitated ape heads with bloody details placed on spears.
