Grandpa receives a letter from Nellie Hoskins (Lurene Tuttle), his former fiancee who called off their engagement. She will be passing through and wants to see him. He's lied to her, however, to say he's very wealthy. Mr. Brent offers for him to borrow his car to impress her and carry on the image he's painted. Mr. Whitt nervously and comically poses as the chauffeur. The charade continues when Mr. Brent lets Grandpa use his mansion as if it is his. Mr. Brent calls off his dinner date with Lavinia who mistakes Nellie as the other woman with various consequences.
A comical episode, but going along with a charade seems against Mr. Brent's character. I'll also note that it seems as if Uncle Lucius has disappeared from the series. He really fit the part and was a nice, energetic, comedic supporting player.
