Lois comes in and Lois tells them that they'll be in touch. Mike is surprised and leaves, and Lois tells Chrissy to cancel the rest of the interviews if the candidates are like Mike. Chrissy points out that Lois didn't talk to Mike, and Lois says that they need someone who cares more about the job than their Twitter followers, and his article was predictive journalism at its worst. Chrissy points out that Lois hasn't liked any of the candidates she's brought in, and they were the best available. She tells Lois that they have to compromise or they're never going to hire anyone, and they need help. Lois reluctantly gives in.
At the Cushing house, Kyle brings in a package that just arrived. It holds campaign t-shirts for Daniel Hart, the upcoming mayoral candidate. Lana says that she's going to work hard to get Daniel elected.

Mitch says that they have to work together, and if he can't get Superman's word that American commitments come first for him, things are going to have to change. At the Cushing house, Lana discusses politics with Clark. Clark asks what Kyle thinks about all the work Lana is putting in, and she wonders if Kyle is jealous. She says that they talked about it, and Kyle avoids the question and makes her feel like she's to blame. Clark readily agrees, and admits that things haven't been good with her and Lois anymore. Lana suggests that they finish a bottle of wine together.
The ground shakes, and Sarah comes home and finds Kyle working on a car in the garage. She tells her father that them being together was too much for Jordan, and Kyle tells her that she's the alpha and should be honest. Sarah is surprised that her father had good advice, and helps him with the car.
Clark comes home and finds Lois sitting on the porch. She tells her husband that she snapped at Jordan earlier, and she couldn't let it go that he wasn't ready to talk about Sarah. Lois tells Clark that things haven't been good for months and she blamed Clark, and apologizes to him. She explains that she froze up when Nat called her "Mom", and she felt nothing and it must have been how her mother felt when she abandoned her family. He explains that they did well on their inaugural mission. When Superman warns that they're not ready for what's out in the real world, Mitch disagrees and tells Superman that it isn't his cause. He tells Superman that America needs to come first, and it does to his new team. When it does to Superman, Superman should come back. Until then, his new team is the ones who he is calling. Superman says that the crests aren't Mitch's to use, and Mitch says that it's recognizable, he wants people to know that they're the good guys, and America can have more than one Superman.
Lois meets with John and Nat at a diner, and Nat storms out. Going after her, Lois tells sits down on a park bench with Nat and apologizes for what happened to her. Nat wonders why Lois wants her in her life, and Lois tells Nat that she's smart and poised, and it would be good for each of them to be in each other's life.
At home, Kyle and Lana talk, and Lana tells her husband that the car is a great project that he's doing with Sarah. Lana tells Kyle that she'd rather be there with him than working on the campaign with Daniel, and they kiss. Sarah comes in and tells them to take it to their bedroom, and leaves as her parents laugh. Sarah gets a text from Jordan and ignores it.
Jordan is with Jon, who is playing video games. Clark comes in and says that they can't have a repeat of what happened. He says that they might not be ready for adult decisions, and they can come to their parents if they have questions. Jordan asks Clark how old when he had his first time, and Clark only says that he was older than them. As he leaves, Clark tells his sons that they're still going to hear from Lois and things will finally get back to normal.
The RV pulls up outside, and Clark and his sons go out. Lois, John, and Nat are there, and Lois says that she talked to Nat and realized she couldn't let her leave again. They're going to stay in Smallville, and at the farm until they find someplace to live. Clark readily agrees, and Lois introduces Nat to her family. The boys take Nat to show her around, and John asks Clark if he's really okay with it. Clark assures John that he is, and he's happy to help a friend.
