When a local business owner is gunned down in his shop, it becomes personal for Atwater, who patrolled the neighborhood as a young cop. Dep. Supt. Samantha Miller comes to Voight with a special request about Andre Cooper.
When a man Atwater knows is shot in his store. He takes it personally. Miller asks Voight if he would allow Andre Cooper, the partner of the cop who shot a black man into his team cause he is being shunned by the department over what happened with his partner. Voight says he doesn't need him. Investigation into the shooting reveals that a gang might be responsible. They think they need to send someone undercover and since they are all known. Voight asks Cooper to do it, he gets close to a guy who joined the gang out of necessity. While working on the guy he empathizes with him and worries how this will affect him.—Rcs0411@yahoo.com
