Director Rene Amador found the jacket that The Warrior would wear in the film at a military surplus shop, while taking a break from writing the script. It was labeled as a "shooting jacket." Rene dabbled down the price from over $100 down to the $30 he had on him at the time. This was the first event in a trend of making the film on an ultra-low budget. Other budget expenses included the rest of The Warrior's costume, Talia's costume, bottled water for the set, and the prop guns.
