It's alright, it's just so slow.
DI Venn continues to look for the killer, and now has to search for missing girl Rosa.
It isn't terrible, but only just, i think there are some really nice elements in the mix here, a great cast, awesome locations, it is just so slow.
I remember now, I did actually read the book, but I had forgotten all about it, it's just not very memorable, that's how I feel about this episode.
Could they have made this into two episodes perhaps, how much of DI Venn looking moody can we take.
I'm hopeful this is going to get better, 5/10.

Comatose
Oh dear!
I had hoped that the first part was just setting the scene and things would speed up here but, unfortunately, it was not to be the case.
I appreciate that things are more laid back down in the South West but the plot has become almost as comatose as the dead body found in the previous story.
At least we are half way through the series but it could be a long second half.

Episode 2
What happened? Seriously!
I think you can skip this episode and not miss anything if you went straight to Episode 3.
The murder mystery takes back seat to the personal lives of both DI Venn and DC Rafferty.
It obviously signals that somehow the people they interact with have something to do with the murder.
At least the scenery was nice.
