Slash has had a busy year, releasing a new solo album, unveiling signature model guitars, and plotting a traveling blues festival. But 2025 will be “all about Guns N’ Roses,” in the guitarist’s own words.
In a new interview, Slash discussed his future plans now that he’s fresh off the release of his blues LP, Orgy of the Damned. Not only is he set to record a new album with his long-running band the Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, but Gn’R appear to have major plans in store for 2025, as well.

Most of the guest singers on Slash’s just-released album of blues and soul covers, Orgy of the Damned, seem like a who’s who of hard rock: Paul Rodgers, Steven Tyler, Billy Gibbons, Iggy Pop. There’s also Demi Lovato, the rock-loving pop star who gives a powerhouse performance of the Temptations’ “Papa Was a Rolling Stone.”
“That was so left-field for everybody involved, because she’s from the pop world,” Slash told Rolling Stone earlier this week. “But I had this very distinct idea in my mind of...

Guitar legend Slash is set to perform with Cleto and the Cletones across three nights next week on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
From May 20-22, the Guns N’ Roses guitarist will perform songs from his new record “Orgy Of The Damned,” an album of blues covers that features collaborations with Demi Lovato, Chris Stapleton, Steven Tyler, and Iggy Pop.
Slash isn’t the first artist to stick around at Jkl for more than one night. Metallica made headlines in March of 2023 when they performed songs on the show four nights in a row, and it was six years ago that David Letterman’s bandleader Paul Shaffer joined the show’s house band for a week of shows in Brooklyn.
Slash has appeared solo on the Kimmel show 4 times for performances or interviews, most recently in 2022. He also played the show twice with his band Velvet Revolver.

It might not be immediately apparent from songs like “Sweet Child o’ Mine” or “November Rain,” but Slash’s roots are in the blues. “Everybody knows me as a rock & roll guitar player,” he tells Rolling Stone. “When I was a kid, though, I was exposed to great blues music from my family. So even though my intention was to be a rock musician when I picked up the guitar, it was always firmly rooted in the blues ideal.”

Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators wrapped up their UK/European tour in Paris on Monday (April 29th) by bringing Wolfgang Van Halen onstage for a rousing cover of the AC/DC classic “Highway to Hell.” Wolfgang’s band Mammoth Wvh served as support on the month-long run.
Kennedy introduced Wolfgang, telling the crowd, “We’re honored that we’ve been able to tour with this next gentleman and his band, ’cause I think he’s one of the most talented people on the planet.”

Slash then started playing the iconic “Highway to Hell” riff, with the rest of the band and Wolfgang joining in soon thereafter. Bassist Todd Kearns handled lead vocals on the verses, with Kennedy and Wolfgang chiming in on the chorus. At one point, Wolfgang delivered a blistering guitar solo.

Slash teams up with composer Bear McCreary for an epic new song “The End of Tomorrow” from the latter’s forthcoming album, The Singularity, arriving May 3rd.
The near-11-minute track opens with an instrumental orchestral intro before Slash’s guitar cuts through the mix. His tone and style are immediately recognizable, with McCreary entrusting the Guns N’ Roses axeman with the main melodic lines in the arrangement.

Bear’s brother, Brendan McCreary, contributes lead vocals to the track and assumes a prominent role, as the song traverses many movements and cinematic turns — not surprising given Bear’s background in film, television, and video game scores.
For those approaching the song via Slash’s notable guest spot — namely Gn’R fans — “The End of Tomorrow” immediately recalls “November Rain” in its maximalism and narrative weight, and the Use Your Illusion masterpiece was a direct influence according to McCreary.

Slash has unveiled the latest single from his upcoming blues album, Orgy of the Damned, set to arrive on May 17th. The Guns N’ Roses guitarist teams up with country superstar Chris Stapleton on a cover of Fleetwood’s Mac’s “Oh Well.”
The freewheeling guitar playing from Slash and the raspy vocal delivery from Stapleton add a gritty vibe to Fleetwood Mac’s original 1969 song, a bluesy garage number that was penned and sung by singer-guitarist Peter Green.

Slash said of the song in a press release, “So, this is the original Fleetwood Mac, which was founded by Peter Green, one of the greatest singer-songwriter-guitar players, he’s less known in the public, but very well known to us guitar players re the 60s British blues and he’s up there with Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Mick Taylor. When Slash was putting together the track list for his upcoming blues album, Orgy of the Damned, he had a very distinct voice in mind for his version of Fleetwood Mac’s “Oh Well”: Chris Stapleton.
“His singing cadence and that drawl that he has for this particular song, in my mind’s eye, it sounded perfect,” the Guns N’ Roses guitarist tells Rolling Stone.
But despite Stapleton having opened some shows for Gn’R, Slash didn’t already have a relationship with the country crooner. “I had to...

Slash has announced a new blues album, Orgy of the Damned, arriving May 17th via Gibson Records.
Like he has on previous solo albums, the Guns N’ Roses guitar legend surrounded himself with a host of fellow musical icons and guest vocalists. For example, the lead single, “Killing Floor” — streaming below — features the talents of AC/DC’s Brian Johnson on lead vocals and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler on harmonica.
The rest of the tracklist features similar star-studded collabs, with Slash and company tackling blues standards from across all eras such as Robert Johnson’s “Crossroad Blues,” Albert King’s “Born Under a Bad Sign,” Willie Dixon’s “Hoochie Coochie Man,” and more.
The list of notable singers includes Gary Clark Jr., Billy Gibbons, Chris Stapleton, Dorothy, Iggy Pop, Paul Rodgers, Demi Lovato, Chris Robinson, Tash Neal, and Beth Hart.

Around the time Slash parted ways with Guns N’ Roses, he got deep into the blues and soul music. With a group called Slash’s Blues Ball, he reinterpreted the music of Robert Johnson, Willie Dixon, and Stevie Wonder, among others, at gigs between 1996 and 1998. Now — nearly three decades later — the guitarist, who returned to Gn’R in 2016, is recommitting himself to that group’s repertoire on Orgy of the Damned, a new solo album due out May 17, which finds him trading licks with many of his famous friends.

Shoreline Entertainment has recently signed three films by notorious low budget filmmaker Creep Creepersin, just in time for Afm.
First up is Orgy of Blood, an erotic vampire film starring Domiziano Arcangeli, who is also executive producer. The film, also starring Chandler Maness ("Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency"), Randal Malone (Curse of Lizzie Borden), Jeff Dylan Graham (Psychosomatika), and a slew of horror genre favorites, wrapped in May. Orgy of Blood was written and directed by Creep Creepersin and produced by Aine Leicht and Nikki Wall.
Shoreline also snapped up two more Creepersin films for release as a Grindhouse-style double feature: The Creep Creepersin Double Featuresin. Comprised of Vaginal Holocaust and Caged Lesbos a-Go-Go, the double feature is a heavy throwback to 60’s and 70’s exploitation films.

Fango heard from busy indie-horror actor Joe Zaso, who’s done a number of New York-area and overseas fright flicks and recently made a trip to La to co-star in a sci-fi chiller called H1N1: Virus X. Ready to dip your toes into the bloody remnants left behind by a veritable Orgy of Blood? Good because .... what? What do you mean it's not sanitary? I swear we're surrounded by pussies lately!

Fosco (played by Domiziano Arcangeli), a 300-year-old vampire, lives in a beautiful mansion with his wife Sabina (Lorielle New) and their adopted son Dimitri (Chandler Maness). Their lives are a non-stop lust orgy where anything goes and always does! You know what's fun? Orgies. You know what is also cool? Blood. So you can imagine my excitement when I was invited out to the set for Creep Creepersin's new flick Orgy of Blood.
I was sent out to this giant Gothic looking mansion in the outskirts of the Hollywood Hills area and began having a slight panic attack with the thought that maybe this wasn't just a set visit but a clever ruse by a group of vampire filmmakers to capture a member of the press and torture and maim him until there was nothing left.
Obviously I was apprehensive when I got onto set, but I was immediately greeted by Creep himself, who looked tired and excited all at once.
“This is the hardest thing I've ever done, but it is so worth all the sacrifice,” Creep tells me while they set up the next shot.

In the vein of Battle Royale and The Running Man, The Human Race is about a mass number of people who wake up in a strange arena and are forced by a nefarious intuition to run laps or face a hideous end.
The film stars Paul McCarthy Boyington (Altered), Eddie McGee (The Angel), Creep Creepersin (Orgy Of Blood), Fred Courey (Cindarella) and Domiziano Arcangeli (House Of Flesh Mannequins). Special FX will be done by Tom Devlin (1313Fx).
