Second watch

So it wasn't what I expected, when I saw the preview I thought the guest would be taking Joe's place, it turns out they are only involved in the punishment. At first I was bummed because I really liked the idea of a rotating 4th joker but this is fun too. Fresh eyes on puniments is a good idea so I'm really looking forward to future episodes. Not a fan of the neon thing...

Not bad after Gatto's departure
amir-forgotten13 April 2022
You must by now know that Joe Gatto has departed the show, and this is the first episode not featuring him.

The involvement of second/third grade celebrities is a bit worrying because it seems that the show will be more scripted than usual. I am aware that the show has a team of writers, but they were able to keep the scripted energy out while Gatto was on.

Even though I didn't rate it that high, the first episode not involving Joe Gatto wasn't a flop. I hope they don't mess up the feel of the show.

It's still funny

Yea Joe left but it doesn't make the rest of them less funny

I thought I wouldn't like it but I found myself laughing and with a smile the whole time

So don't listen to negative nancys on here eating it low because the show had to change

Those are prolly the same people that complain about a fantasy series not being realistic

Bottom line show is still worth watching.

Not the same without Joe
lapetinaowen24 June 2022
I'll keep this simple, without Joe the show is just not the same as it was. Joe kept the show together, he was the glue in the group, he made it funnier, more enjoyable for viewers. Without him I just don't feel the same watching.

I still love the shows, even though Joe left 😥

The first time I watched the show without Joe, I thought he just couldn't make it that time and told the guys to do it anyway. But then my friend told me Joe Gatto left the show after season nine. It was sad to hear because Joe was the funniest out of the four guys (thought my favorite is Sal). My family loved him so much.

And yet the shows without him are still good.

I actually enjoyed the shows that didn't have Joe in them, especially the Dumb F*** punishment one (You know why I covered the f word up). The actress has cried on command and tricked Sal. That was really funny! Keep up the good work, Murr, Sal, and Q. I love all of you!

Super Boring
EntertainmentBuff5 May 2022
I am a huge Impractical Jokers fan since day one. I think they have been getting better/funnier over the seasons through the 9th. When I first heard about Joe's departure, I knew the show would not be the same. Joe was the nucleus of the show, he is the wild card that will do just about anything and was truly the funniest. Any of the other members left, I think the show could work but not Joe. Either way, I watched the 1st episode of season 10 and wow, that was boring. First, Eric Andre is annoying and knew he would not be a good edition. Second, I was shocked that the guest star is only involved in the punishment. They are not part of any of the jokes, they do not take part in the skits. Hopefully the other episodes will be better with better guests but this first one was a big fat no.
