... you decide to bury a long dead and boring storyline, which is taking up 2/3rd of episode time, you get time and energy for great new episodes. And that's what happened, another successive (credits only) for agent Keen means another good to excellent episode, though this one was not even close to Glen's eulogy, it was an enjoyable episode in which we saw a bit more from Agent Cooper, besides being the boss and sitting behind his desk. Writers keep up the good work.

Thank God thing are getting back on track. No Lizzie.... I hope very soon will all going to see a title "Elizabeth Keen - Conclusion" in which she'll be killed by some Russian spy, Albanians mob or Colombian Cartel.... it doesn't matter who as long as she no longer in the series.
Finally, back on track!

One of the BEST episodes ever!

I loved Cooper's major role and his mature ethics. Reddington's acting was tip-top and even better than usual. The birdwatcher Anne was such a beautiful, interesting lady, and such a gifted actor. I figured out why everyone is so upset with Liz. Go way back and remember Tom started off a bad guy. The writers took many episodes to explain Tom and redeem him such that he ended up being a good guy and a great husband to Liz. With Liz, all of a sudden one episode she mindlessly loved her mommy and started acting kooky and evil. It was abrupt, illogical, and just not believable. Those of us that object are not cyber bullying; we are just ready for the writers to wake up and focus on the FBI stopping the evil guys each week, not on Liz v. Reddington.
Beautifully Acted Episode

I loved this episode due to some beautiful acting by James Spader, LaChanze, and Harry Lennix. Even though the episode did not address any of the current mythology such as the thumb drive or N13 it was an interesting episode that shows the audience where Red is at emotionally and reaffirms Cooper's moral integrity. One of my favorite episodes in recent years.
Although nothing major happens, good basic blacklister case.

Although nothing major happens with the Cooper/Red N13 Plot ect, this was a good basic blacklister case. No Liz again, didn't really miss her to be honest, as it allowed us to explore Cooper well. Unlike the previous few batch of episodes, I think they neglected Ressler, Park and Aram, this was something that I thought was done well previously, but they didn't have many scenes... Cooper however had a strong presence. James showed us his great acting ability with the scenes with the birdwatcher. Good blacklister structure episode case.
Another good episode

Come on man, Let him settle down atleast for once!!
dattaakash-370558 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
S1 e3, he kisses, s1 e10, she dies, s7e12, he kisses, she leaves afterward. Come on. We have seen every part of this guy. Just the romance left. Come on, please, let us see that part too. I'm damn sure he can be romantic too. But good to see harold, he seems developed some iq. Although, it was kinda predictable that red will the buyer, but all good. The same old blacklist feeling. But please, let this man have a romantic life. Please, please, please.
Still crap...but SO much better

I cannot believe how much more dynamic and meaningful the show became after this horrible talentless hack was removed. THREE SEASONS the writers tortured us with "Katarina Rostova" and her stupid story. But just two bullets - et voila, the show is back. Now, if you kill off Keen by the end of the season, I will happily watch another one. I cannot believe that nobody even says how much better the show would be without Bimbo Boone and her ridiculous interviews.
That said, the show is still crap with pathetic plots. A guy tries to raise awareness about holes in America's defense, fails and decides to sell the holes to (OF COURSE!) Iran, North Korea, China and Russia. How can a liberal TV channel not support American defense paranoya! Okay, but...HOW!? How the hell do you sell the secrets? Is there a toll-free number? 1-800-TRAITORS? Yet another cliche exploited.

Good show - sans Keen

It's such a relief to see no sign of Keen or her henchpeople whom the writers have put on godmode. It makes for a really good episode without them. Kinda like the relief you have in the absence of diarrhea. Lizzie needs to suffer for her gangrene character. Maybe not see her daughter anymore and have her empire fall apart.
An excellent episode in otherwise weird season
misterproper5 March 2021
This is one of the highlights of this season, very well written, emotional, and it gives incredible insight into characters of Raymond and Harold, the kind we have not seen before. It was not an episode about Liz, which is additional bonus. As far as I'm concerned, it would be ok to just continue the story as if she had never existed. I'd be fine with that. Episodes like this one are way more interesting than Liz's emotional crap we're used to seeing.
Sweet moments
soulflowerpetals10 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Best part of the episode are the charming little moments Red had with Anne the birdwatcher. She creates a nice balance. Contrasts with the usual spy talk and pace. She allows the space to exhale a bit. I really hope that she stays around and doesn't get killed off right away or predictable turns out to be some villain in disguise. We have seen too many of those" twists" already.
Good Spy Stuff
Hitchcoc9 December 2022
This was quite enjoyable. A real threat takes place and the character is flesh and blood. He is a real traitor because he has played inside the establishment and now decides to betray them by selling information to another power. Harold gets an amazing offer, but who he is and what he does, and his relationship with Reddington, make such a sensitive position non-tenable. We also see Raymond get together with a nice lady and befriend her. He also has ghosts which will not allow him to put her in danger. It is a sensitive, well written episode which works well. Of course, she who shall not be named, allows us to focus a bit on the plot.
A Lutenant with Other Plans
ZegMaarJus4 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This episode begins with a Lutenant, his headquarters gets attacked. Red has a 'date' with Anne. Park arrested Nina. The Taskforce tries to find Greeley. Red has a meetint with Greeley. Nice Episode of The Blacklist Season 8, again a great episode. Red has not find Liz, will he find her in the next episodes?
