This was the first episode to be broadcast on the WB television network.
Starting with this episode, the intro sequence was altered slightly. The line "while Bill Clinton plays the sax" was replaced with "We pay tons of income tax", and new animation was made to reflect the lyrics change. Also, Pinky and the Brain were excised from the theme song, since they now had their own show; the lyrics referencing them were replaced with "Meet Ralph and Dr. Scratchansniff, say hi to Hello Nurse." Stock footage from earlier episodes replaced the footage of Pinky and the Brain.
The version of the song "A Quake, A Quake" which appears in this episode is slightly different from the one which appeared on the album "Yakko's World." The lyrics on the album version are more generic, whereas the television lyrics refer specifically to Los Angeles. Also, Scratchansniff sings some of the lyrics on television, when he didn't appear at all on the album.
During "Super Strong Warner Siblings," Dot briefly appears with a duckbill. This is interesting as the original concept for the show was that it be about three ducks. This was dropped in order to avoid similarities to 'DuckTales.'
The people Wakko asks for feedback on his new gookie are Michaelangelo, Bob Hope, Katherine Hepburn, and Larry King and his viewers (one of whom is also Hope).
