Shrinking, the newest comedy from Jason Segel and the team behind Ted Lasso, has arrived on AppleTV+. The series follows a therapist who struggles at work after the death of his wife. He finally breaks down and starts telling his patients exactly what he thinks, which turns out to be life-changing for many people — including himself. The star-studded cast of Shrinking includes some faces that might look familiar, so here’s a breakdown of the stars and who they play.
‘Shrinking’ cast members Jason Segel as Jimmy and Harrison Ford as Paul | AppleTV+ Jason Segel plays Jimmy Laird
In addition to helping create Shrinking, Jason Segel stars as James “Jimmy” Laird. The death of Jimmy’s wife has caused him to isolate himself from his friends and family, and he can’t get his head straight at work. He finds a new, unorthodox method of giving advice to his client,...

Some television series sabotage themselves by completely missing the boat on what they need to be to stay relevant. Ugly Betty ensnared a niche of interested viewers from its outset for being a campy show with a plucky wit about a girl out of her element and slowly making it her own. It was an odd mix between the Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Devil Wears Prada, but possessed none of the clever spirit of either and going overboard in melodrama that ultimately robbed it of any real comedic value. For fans who stayed true to the fourth and final season, it essentially gave them closure to a lot of the plotpoints they saw coming in the seasons that preceded it, and let them down easy for its early departure.

If you can't wait until tonight's season premiere of Ugly Betty (ABC, 8 p.m. Et), you can get your Marc and Amanda fix below with the latest installment of their web series, Mode After Hours. Mandy signs Marc up for Internet dating, and, well... even if you know where this is headed, with Michael Urie and Becki Newton doing the talking/IMing, it's still hilarious. And p.s. I've spent way too much time trying to decide if Newton's belch is real or Adr.

Since Ugly Betty won't be around for a few weeks, the fans have to find something else to amuse themselves with. We're not saying you should jump on the bandwagon of an all-new show entirely or betray Betty altogether. We're merely suggesting you check out the return of the spin-off web series "Mode After Hours."
Marc (Michael Urie) and Amanda (Becki Newton) are back with their behind-Wilhelmina's-back antics, the kind of stuff they won't show you on TV. They're still worth watching though, given the hilarity of this comic duo.

Chicago – Before the new fall season really gets underway, we thought we’d take a look back at several of the shows recently released or about to be released on DVD in season sets from ABC Studios and Buena Vista Home Video including the first season of “Castle,” the third season of “Ugly Betty,” the second season of “Private Practice,” and the fifth season of “Grey’s Anatomy”.
“Castle: The Complete First Season”
Castle will be released on DVD on September 22nd, 2009.

DVD Rating: 4.0/5.0 My personal favorite among the shows recently released by ABC Studios in a move designed to get viewers excited for the fall schedule again is easily “Castle,” a clever murder mystery that got better as the weeks went along and that I truly expect to become a massive hit in season two. I could be wrong, but people ask...

We have all heard the saying "when the cat is away, the mice will play." In this particular case, it's the Executive Assistant and the Receptionist at a high-end fashion magazine that are the ones doing the playing. Mode After Hours is a spin-off webseries that follows two characters from the popular ABC dramedy series Ugly Betty and their office antics when the rest of the staff has gone home. Marc St. James (Michael Urie) and Amanda Tanen (Becki Newton) are "besties forever" and their frantic and odd devotion to each other is topped only by their disturbing obsession with themselves. From Amanda's "Me Pile" (packages delivered to the office that mysteriously end up "lost in the mail" only to be opened by Amanda when she's feeling down) to Marc's pretending he is babysitting a newborn just so he can stalk Jake Gyllenhaal, these two are dysfunctional with a capital func.
