When I say this film is sweet, I don't mean saccharin or sappy, instead this film is funny, heartwarming, and yes, sweet. You may see you and your mother in the characters of Mama and Dory or you may wish that you had that type of relationship. And you will definitely be craving homemade apple pie at the end of the film. Direction by Gobetti is stellar and the one take method used by Ronn, Gobetti and their DP takes an incredible story and makes it a unique and super cool experience for the viewer. Set design is 10's across the board, really makes you feel like your in the kitchen with them. All in all...Superb.

A true slice of life

I just finished this charming and wonderful slice of life film. Two salty ladies both mother and daughter share family secrets, life experiences and love for each other. Extremely well acted. The truism of the writing makes one feel like you are there with them. I can say that it reminded me of conversations with my own mother. It felt as though they had really spent a life together. The ending for me was expected. I am glad that I was able to spend time with them while they made an apple pie. I highly recommend this film for any audience. I also think this production would translate well for the stage. One set, perhaps two acts. The writer and actors should all be proud of this film.
