She is a revenge attorney. What does that mean? Well, she is a new lawyer at the firm and looking at picking up cases. She is not having any luck until a case falls into her laps. Her colleagues are embarrassed by a woman and her case and want nothing to do with it. The case is assigned to the new lawyer and she seeks to exact revenge on the accused.

Having been dismissed from her law firm, the lawyer and her suitcase show up at the conman's office where she wonders if they reluctantly could team up. He is not impressed by her, but they have a client soon. It leads them to a village in Saitama victimized by literal and spiritual trash.

They are in the business of exacting revenge, but as mentioned it is a business. So when a little girl walks in asking to hire them, but has little to offer in terms of money she is obviously rejected at first. However, the lawyer recalls her own past and trauma and decides to take on the case with or without adequate payment.

A woman applies to the agency seeking revenge. She was dating a man and had fallen for him - believing he is rich and well-to-do- only to have her purse and money stolen at their last date. 'Papa-Katsu' is the new euphemism for 'Enjo-kosai' or compensated dating. It seems like quite a few women need money and quite a few men are scamming them.

A man walks into the agency looking for help finding who murdered his wife and raided the safe twenty-five years ago. He has limited time and the statute of limitation has kicked in, which means the police cannot help. The partners decide to investigate partly motivated by the reward. The man is rich after all.

Now known as revenge agents, the type of customers who walk in the door of the agency with requests are those who have something they want avenged. It so happens that the two partners receive queries for work separately and set out one at a time to seek the culprit who has committed murder. In one case a mother has been murdered and in another a wife.

Her father was accused of a financial crime, fingered by an industry figure who was speaking to the cops and subsequently vanished from her life. She is an adult now, but has never forgotten or abandoned her search for her father. His memories are scratched in her mind. Her father's accuser is released from prison, but she is not given the chance to interview or confront him.
