In initial screenings, the actual sounds of a silenced Glock 17 pistol were used when the Glock 17s are fired in the film. Upon hearing this sound effect, every single person, who saw the early screening of the film, said the gun sounds didn't seem accurate. Consequently, the filmmaker added sound effects, that audiences would relate a silenced pistol to, on top of the actual sound.
Filmmaker Josh Negrin is a huge fan of composer Chris Tilton. Upon hearing Chris Tilton's "Black" score, Josh sought him out on MySpace, showed Chris his action packed "iPhone Film" and Chris subsequently asked if he could be Josh's "music man" on his next project. The two collaborated on this film.
The Beverly Hills Police Department detained the entire cast and crew just after a key scene was shot. The filmmakers were grateful they weren't arrested or ticketed and gave The Beverly Hills Police Department a special thanks in the credits.
