A hidden gem
This is a short film which was shown on BBC in the late 1990s, it is set in 1994 focuses on Glasgow based "Scottish Italians" who are trying to find which pub is showing the USA 1994 World Cup match between Italy and Mexico. There are many comic moments in this and the Scottish actors particularly Tom Watson and Frank Gallagher have the "Italian Scots" down to a tee, the ending is very amusing too reminds me of "An Evening With Gary Lineker". Look out for a great appearance by Ford Kiernan as an Irish football fan. If you like American Cousins then you will love this. The accuracy in this film of the Scottish Italians is first class, I really wish this was released on DVD.
