Can Mark Wahlberg repeat the success of Entourage, but for a female audience? According to The Hollywood Reporter [1], he is currently developing a new comedy series for HBO with producing partner Stephen Levinson that revolves around a group of female friends working and finding romance in L.A. Although the Los Angeles setting will probably play a large part in the lifestyle that is featured, the show is reportedly evolving away from a focus on Hollywood and showbiz. Also, despite the picture above, it will have no actual connection to Entourage or any of its characters (at least, not so far). Wahlberg didn't come up with the initial idea for the series; it is actually the brainchild of young actresses Leah Rachel and Emily Montague (Key Lime Lie).
