Unable to sleep, Sarah checks herself into a sleep clinic to see if they can diagnose and treat whatever is ailing her. She continues to have nightmares that are proving to be as vivid as real life. She begins to suspect that the clinic is not all that it seems to be. Her roommate, who constantly dreams of being engulfed in flames, dies when their room catches on fire. She suspects her nurse of drugging and killing patients but Sarah has now reached a point where she can no longer tell the difference between dreams and reality.
