Disney Plus’ “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” has been greenlit for a third season, which follows the Wildcats as they begin summer break away from the hallways of East High and go to a sleepaway camp — which promises to be replete with campfires, showmances and curfew-less shenanigans.
“We are overjoyed to be heading to the great outdoors for season three, and grateful to our partners and friends at Disney Plus for their continued support of our next-generation Wildcats,” said creator and executive producer Tim Federle.

Encore! Disney+ has renewed the praised original series High School Musical:The Musical: The Series for a third season.
Created and executive-produced by Tim Federle, season three will follow the Wildcats as they leave the hallways of East High for the ultimate summer at sleepaway camp, complete with campfires, summer romances and curfew-less nights. Production for the third season will relocate from Salt Lake City to Los Angeles and begin later this year.

If you thought the soundtrack for High School Musical: The Musical: The Series season one was good, just wait until you hear the music for their holiday special. Ahead of the special's premiere on Disney+, Popsugar had stars Joshua Bassett, Olivia Rodrigo, Sofia Wylie, and Matt Cornett test their knowledge to see how well they remembered all the tracks from the first season.
In addition to guessing lyrics from the High School Musical movies . . .
. . . They also had to guess lyrics from the original songs featured on the show, including the ones Rodrigo and Bassett wrote.

Yesterday, the Mouse House unveiled their stacked upcoming plans for Disney Plus, with many hotly anticipated projects on the way, including 10 TV shows apiece for the Marvel and Star Wars franchises. All these goodies are still pretty far off, but this Friday, December 11th nonetheless delivers a few juicy treats for subscribers, such as some new originals, a popular animated sequel and the latest episode of The Mandalorian.
For starters, a couple of Disney Channel holiday specials go up on the streaming service today – Disney Channel’s Epic Holiday Showdown and Disney Holiday Magic Quest – featuring many of your favorite stars like Raven Symone (Raven’s Home) and Zombies‘ Meg Donnelly. Then there’s docuseries Beyond the Clouds, diving behind the scenes of the recent moving biopic, which can be found in the Extras section of Clouds.
