A Gas of Wit
What is less funny about this weakly produced program? Maybe the comedy routines of the stars. There isn't a joke that works in the whole 24 minutes. The show looks awful, it falls flat, and did i mention it wasn't funny. It's so unfunny it could possibly cure cancer. The story line is convoluted and amazingly forced as i follows the paths of five comics who don't know how to run a business, so why not open a club? Wow, sounds like comedy gold. But comedy is so far removed from this program that it acts like a void of anything creative. I'm sure these people are funny and charming in real life, but on screen they are irritating, screechy, and sloppily put together. Poor actors is also a valid criticism of these people.
The good? well, there is some partial nudity. Not the kind you want to see though. A woman with a bulging stomach bends over in a thong, giving the show a final gasp at attempted humor which leaves the viewer at a complete loss of words. It is inexcusable and inexplicable how professional film makers and "comedians" would feel any aspect of this pilot would work...Let's hope no one picks it up. I can't see that happening ever, as long as the people choosing aren't blind and deaf.
