When Violet, Barbara and Ivy are arguing at the dinner table, all three smash their dinner plates. Later in the same scene, Barbara's plate is on the table intact.
At the start of the film when Violet stumbles against the wall, her cigarette is over half length long. In the next scene showing her just seconds later, it is burned down to the filter.
The sheriff's car bears an Oklahoma County license plate. Oklahoma County is about 2 1/2 hours away from Osage County.
