Warning: Spoilers
I like that it wasn't an overt love triangle. After she overcomes the initial surprise that he's engaged, they have a few meaningful scenes of innocent friendliness. But it's clear that they get each other. In the meantime, she is also helping her sister with her upcoming wedding, and she has to overcome her own guilt for a failed engagement in the past. He, meanwhile, has to figure out that he and his fiance are not right for each other.

The ending was funny, but I don't think you can just show up uninvited to a wedding.

Learning to love yourself

8.0 stars.

There is a rare and engaging chemistry between the leads that makes this a very satisfying film. I was impressed by their spontaneous and exciting interactions. He is fun and energetic and she adeptly reciprocates, and there is no denying their on-screen harmony. Funny I just saw them both in 'You Had me at Aloha' earlier this week.

'The Perfect Bride' is original and skillfully tells the story of a woman and man with an undeniable affinity for each other. One of the most remarkable aspects is that neither one of them attempts to hide their feelings even though one of them is engaged. The fact they are soulmates is obvious and their hearts are exposed from the very first scene.

'The Perfect Bride' could motivate you to give yourself another chance at love. Through the medium of a woman who is a marriage counselor and fitness trainer, we learn a few lessons about the importance of communication in relationships. What this film also teaches is that love is a gift and just as we would not deny others the right to be loved, we often forget that we equally deserve it. And finally, the story is uniquely constructed to convey a powerful statement that marriage is about friendship and not about obligation.

Wedding photographer meets bridal boot camp guru in this match made in heaven!
cgvsluis19 May 2022
Molly is a bridal boot camp leader and Nick is a wedding photographer. The two meet on the dance floor of a wedding and then meet again when Nick's fiancé attends Molly's class as a last minute addition.

Molly and Nick seem made for each other and Nick's fiancé is out of touch with her wanting to "win" her wedding.

Molly seems to be a wonderful person and I loved the concept of adding her counseling knowledge to her bridal boot camp teachings. It was a great idea to help brides be both mentally and physically fit before their wedding.

This was a beautiful romance that I highly recommend to all romantics. Pascale and Kavan are wonderful natural together and this supporting cast was great!

A really likeable cast but appalling storyline.
rosey-141 September 2021
The leads are two of my favourite actors within the Hallmark stable and the supporting cast were familiar faces, each deserving leads of their own. Well acted, reasonable locations, it should have been the best of Hallmark, unfortunately the script led to some stilted conversations and the story itself was weak and insipid.

I would love to see this entire cast in something that does their talents justice.
