I don't recall seeing Margaret Qualley act before but if this is the best she can do, I feel sorry for her. Perhaps the writing and directing are to blame more than she is. Her blank stares and quirky eye movements didn't help. There is almost no dialogue; it's just a series of actors reading lines to no purpose. Why is she rolling around in the bed, over obiously several days because her clothing is changing from scene to scene, constantly staring up at mold on the ceiling without doing something about it? She is a maid and can at least try to clean it up. And why isn't she working those several days? She goes into a dark attic space with a lighter, when she has a phone with a flashlight app, then the door somehow mysteriously closes and is 'stuck' and she panics. Who writes this garbage?
Andie McDowell must be coming to the end of her career to agree to work on this series. Her over the top rants and raves would identify her as unable to function in the real world but somehow she manages to do so when it suites the director. I can only watch one episode a night and only continuing with this series to see how bad it gets. My curiousity is holding me hostage to this fiasco.
