I had the VHS tape, once upon a time, that had this episode on it. I always enjoyed it, and I'm glad to see that it still holds-up, all these years later. I love "Rugrats"-it may very well be one of the greatest cartoons of all time.
I love the atmosphere to this episode.
I love the constant references to the Universal Monsters flicks, especially with Chucky's dream sequence about being the Wolf Man.
I even love the music (which was always good for this show, but, here, they did some special, spooky stuff).
I enjoyed seeing this again, because I have major nostalgia for this.
The voice actors did a solid job, as always. You could never replace these folks. All of them do a fantastic job!
The art style has always been a favorite of mine, when it comes to cartoons I grew-up with. I also enjoy the smoothness of the animation the later episodes of "Rugrats" tend to have (like this one).
This was a massive treat, for 2018! So glad I went ahead and bought this new DVD release, yesterday. The pack came with a bunch of other "Rugrats"' eerier episode's, so I'm gonna watch those, now, and post some reviews, too. Can't wait to re-watch some of these other classic episodes.
If you see this DVD in a store, and you haven't seen it (either as a fan of the show or not), I'd definitely recommend getting it. This was too cute for words. It had the same charm I've always loved about "Rugrats".
