She was a Senior Culinary Producer at Food Network, where she worked on shows including Iron Chef America, Next Iron Chef, Tyler's Ultimate, Guy's Big Bite and more. She was also a food stylist for Emeril Live, Essence of Emeril, Next Food Network Star, Rachael Ray and more. Now, she's the Culinary Producer at The Chew and the co-editor of the new Chew cookbook, which debuts September 25. Archer lives in Washington Heights with her husband and two-year-old daughter.

A show that I have long been at odds with, The Next Food Network Star, is returning for a new round on June 6th. Almost as though obsessed with picking the people I would least be interested to watch, the show and I have a certain love/hate relationship. Of course, it may be in their best interest to find out who I like, and pick the other person, because while I love both Adam Gertler and Will Work for Food, I don't know that the show really went anywhere (or if there will be more). Meanwhile, Big Daddy's House apparently has four seasons under its belt. Anyway. Whatever may happen after the fact, I do like the competition series, especially considering that it is one of the few competition shows around that seem to have judges with some right to claim the name. Well, the whole thing is kicking off again,...
