Definitely worth watching

How refreshing to watch a completely inclusive show that's focused on every day life, not disability. Loved the characters and the way they're developed. These actors are perfectly credible and I warmed to them all. Fabulous young actors, look forward to seeing you all In more shows going forward. A little light relief in the, UK when everything on tv is so bleak, was welcomed and heartwarming. Bravo to cast and crew to breaking the norms on mainstream tv. We need more shoes like this. Look forward to seeing these actors in more shows to come. Thank you for making me feel warm and fuzzy on these cold autumn evenings.

Heartwarming

This show is really refreshing and heartwarming about a kind couple with Down syndrome and their families and friends. I laughed a lot. It's not something you can see every day. I was happy to see that the show focused on their everyday lives and it was informative about their conditions and daily struggles too. Their lives can be very difficult sometimes but they had some helping hands. They were brilliant and acted well. I hope there will be more series. Well done. I really hope many people with Down syndrome have this supportive background in the real life too. I highly recommend watching the show.

Refreshingly innocent and a pure delight

When you have got tired of the adultery, murders and violence with our traditional Soaps and have given up on those for some time how refreshing it was to tune into this after a hard day at the office. Its simple, the story line is fantastic and I keep bursting out laughing at the little things that make you smile, like Ralph feeding himself with a grabber from the sofa...please give it a try, its innocent and just beautiful and a great way to de- stress. Also has a few well known faces acting along with of course the stars of the show who just happen to have a learning disability, it caters for all, We will all recognise the interfering mum, and I have just burst out laughing again at Ralph setting his Alexa equivalent for Katie to bring him a beer. Great wholesome stuff. Well done.

Such a wonderful ride sharing the lives of normal people inclusive, heartwarming and simply perfect Could end up being a classic many more adventures to come hopefully .Tackles real life issues and the simple things in life whilst dealing with emotions and the little and routine things in life as well as the trying times. Perfectly handled and written from interfering neighbours to the dilemma of a family Christmas, the things we all take for granted as well as the emotions of growing up and leaving home loved the characters so well portrayed can't wait for series two to see how relationships develop with time plenty to look forward to hopefully .

One of 2022's highlights.

The first year of Ralph and Katie's marriage, their ups and downs, their friends, family, laughs and tears.

Quite a special series, I'd argue you won't have needed to have watched The A Word to pick it up, but it may help to have introduced the characters, and the troubles the pair faced in reaching this point.

It's funny at times, it's often quite moving, it never fails to be heart warming. Sarah Gordy's smile genuinely is infectious, and will make you smile at the same time, both she and Leon Harrop are tremendous. The couple are one solid unit that experience highs and lows, but they portray one thing, the need to prove others wrong, and show they can manage.

Craig Cash, Jamie Marie Leary, Dylan Brady are all great in support. Pooky Quesnel really is a class act, anything she's in, I will watch.

The locations used are breathtaking, the house itself looks idyllic.

Hopefully there's a second series, there's no word of one as yet.

Loved it, 9/10.
