Chicago – Fans of the 1990s series “Boy Meets World” would probably still like to meet the actress that portrayed Topanga, Danielle Fishel. For seven seasons, she was the dream girl for the the title “Boy,” Cory Matthews (Ben Savage), and has recently wrote her memoir, called “Normally This Would Be Cause for Concern.” She is also featured on the 2014 Disney Channel spin-off, “Girl Meets World.”
Danielle was ten years old when she began doing commercials, and was 12 when landed the role of Topanga Lawrence on “Boy Meets World.” What began as a one-off role became a seven season run for the character, and Danielle made the cover of Seventeen Magazine and was voted one of the “The Hottest 21 Stars under 21” in Teen People Magazine. After the show ended, she appeared in a few films, including “National Lampoon’s Dorm Daze” (2003). She also hosted several TV shows, including Style Network’s “The Dish,...

Recently thrust back into the spotlight thanks to the announcement of a "Boy Meets World" sequel, Danielle Fishel has one more thing to celebrate: She's now a college graduate.
Fishel, 31, took to her Tumblr page Wednesday to reveal that she completed her last two final exams and has fulfilled one of her "proudest achievements in life."
The actress also said attending college is how she met her fiance, while working as a math tutor. Fishel said she was intimidated to return to school, not wanting to be the oldest person in class and unable to recall "simple math equations." But the Disney Channel star said she did so well in math that she became a tutor. "And that is how I met my fiance," she wrote.
Fishel revealed that she worked 35 hours a week while attending school, which includes hosting the Style Network series "The Dish" until 2011. She encouraged anyone...

Social media networks nearly imploded with the recent news that a "Boy Meets World" sequel series is in the works, and better yet, that The Disney Channel is looking to cast Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel in their original roles as Cory and Topanga.
Now, as an entire generation of Tgif viewers waits with baited breath, Fishel and Savage dangle the casting carrot with a teasy tweet.
Fishel took to Twitter to announce, "Just want you guys to know that @BenSavage and I have talked and we've decided...Thanksgiving is going to be delicious this year!"
Since "Boy Meets World's" 2000 finale, Fishel has continued her acting career, but focused on hosting gigs. She was a correspondent for "The Tyra Banks Show" and hosted "The Dish" until 2011.
Savage has had guest roles on various episodic shows, such as "Bones" and "Without a Trace," in addition to some film roles.

The Dish's own Danielle Fishel sat in as cohost on The View this morning. The good news for Danielle was that she got to meet guest Harry Connick Jr. The bad news was that she had to endure Joy Behar relating this very personal story about the song "When the Saints Go Marching In." It was actually a blessing in disguise because, for days, Joy had thought her phone was lost...

The diva of the The Dish, Danielle Fishel, makes us forget that Old Spice guy and the horse he rode in on—by having him on the show! But not before she takes us (and him) on a wild ride (or two) of her own. Way to give him hell, Danielle! On Friday (Jan. 29), after shooting an episode of her Style Network show, "The Dish," Danielle Fishel sat down with her guest-star for the day, Lisa Arch, host of Style's "What I Hate About Me" (and occasional guest-host of the network's "Clean House") and talked red-carpet yeas, nays and hell-nays with The Dish Rag.
On disappointments from the Golden Globes ...
Fishel: "I really did not like Chloe Sevigny's dress. She was so offended that the rain had hit her dress, and I was like, 'That rain could only make it better. It could only add attraction to her dress.' That idea of a full ruffle, top to bottom of your body, kind of horrifies me, in fashion."
Arch: "I totally agree with you. And somebody stepped on her dress, too, and she flipped! I laughed. But I love her on 'Big Love.' But I was really disappointed in Julia Roberts.

A quick message from the Soup brain trust: Thank you for helping making this week's Dish the highest rated to date. We obviously owe it all to Kim Zolciak's terrific acting in this clip. And for those of you who really do want to look like Kim, the look-alike kit's not real. Sorry fellas. Anyway, help us spread the good word on The Dish, with foxy chuckle queen Danielle Fishel. And don't miss your next serving this Saturday at 10 p.m. Et/Pt on the Style network.
