Prison riots, blackmail and vengeance – oh my! The latest installment of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s shenanigans with Ghost Rider was definitely the best so far this season. Not only was it packed with action as per usual, but many of the show's storylines actually moved forward!
On Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4 Episode 5, the majority of the S.H.I.E.L.D. team is preoccupied with a mission at the secure prison where Robbie's Uncle Eli is being kept. Since the mission involves a member of his own family, Robbie insists on coming along -- though some members of the team, primarily Mack, are not enthusiastic about the idea.
Pretty much the entire episode takes place in the prison, which means we're treated to an awesome prison riot scene straight of out an old-school grindhouse movie...if grindhouse movies had to abide by network television's rules and regulations for violence.

Comic-Con was plagued by a strange set of voodoo dolls, which popped up around the main convention center by 'A.' The string dolls were found in random hotel bedroms and lobbies filled with Comic-Con attendees. They were also spotted near The Walking Dead booth on the convention floor and hanging from the popular pedestrian bridge, and sidewalks down Fifth Street, leading to Comic-Con.
Mystery Voodoo Dolls Found At Comic-Con
The dolls came with a small thumb drive and had “Malum Est” written on their bodies. When connected, the drive directs the lucky recipient to a choppy video, where the same “Malum Est” phrase is clearly seen. It is unclear where, exactly, these dolls were found. Journalist Emma Loggins posted a photo of a voodoo doll she found at the convention, writing, “Found a creepy #voodoo doll today at #sdcc.”
The video does not, however, say what exactly it is promoting.

Since her days on "The Real World: San Diego" in 2004, we've seen Jamie Chung kick major ass in movies like "Sucker Punch," "Dragonball: Evolution" and television's "Samurai Girl," to name a few. But what we haven't seen? Chung handling mouthfuls of dramatic dialogue or "something smart," as she calls it.
Until now, that is. The gorgeous starlet is front and center in "Knife Fight," which isn't the action movie its title implies. The drama follows a political strategist (played by Rob Lowe) and his assistant (Chung) as they navigate a trio of election campaigns rife with cheating husbands, blackmail and even an actual knife fight.
For someone who began her career in reality television, Chung found she had much in common with her on-screen counterpart. She spoke to us during the Tribeca Film Festival about that connection, her favorite New York hotspots and if we'd ever be seeing her grace...

IFC.com's film writer, Matt Singer, is the biggest Arnold Schwarzenegger fan on the planet. He blogs any time any news about Schwarzenegger's return to acting, no matter how flimsy or improbable, hits the Internet.
We're inching ever closer to a full-on return to acting by Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger (has anyone called him the Cheaternator yet? Am I the first? I'm copyrighting it right now). Last month, Schwarzen-Watch told you that Arnold's first film back would be the revisionist Western "The Last Stand" from director Kim Ji-woon, a guy who, as the director of the badass Korean flick "The Good The Bad The Weird," knows a thing or two about revisionist Westerns.
Now we've got word from the Valencia County News Bulletin, that the film has a firmer start date and shooting location: October in Belen, New Mexico. The News Bulletin also provides a slightly more detailed plot synopsis for...

Connected to the Embassy by a sleek underground walkway—and shielded from the sweltering heat—the M.C. Benton Jr. Convention Center comes alive with an International Vendors Market and various events with a youthful edge, including the TeenTastic series of teen-targeted plays, a National Youth Talent Showcase, and the wildly successful and freewheeling Nbtf Poetry Jam, beginning at midnight. After kicking off the festival with the opening-night gala on Monday, Embassy Suites hosts the Youth/Celebrity Project,...

Children are the most tragic victims of homelessness. They often suffer the indignities of living out of a car or in temporary housing – longing for some normalcy. The Los Angeles Mission reaches out to the younger homeless population with its End of Summer Block Party, designed as a way for kids to play, have fun, win prizes and forget about their circumstances – if for only a day.
The End of Summer Block party was held Saturday on the main street of Skid Row, Fifth Street, where decorations, tents and inflatable play areas were set up. Besides the giant slide, there was a dunk tank, face painting, crafts, games and of course backpacks full of school supplies.
“There were smiles everywhere,” said Herb Smith, President of the Los Angeles Mission. “This was a great day, to see the kids and their parents having fun. Our volunteers really enjoy the Block Party because of the kids.
