- TriviaForeman remarks to Cameron that "[House] already thinks that life is nasty, brutish, and long," referencing a quote by political philosopher Thomas Hobbes, that life is "solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short." Hobbes founded the social contract tradition, something House abhors and avoids at all costs.
- GoofsWhen Cameron explains the case, House is making a sandwich, and bites his toast's corner. In the next shot, the bite is in the other corner.

Dr. Gregory House: You manipulative bitch. You're not suddenly eating healthy because you want to. You're eating healthy because you know I don't want to! I've been mooching food for ten years. Now either it suddenly started bothering you this week or you're...
Dr. James Wilson: Screwing with you. It needed to be done. After Amber died, I withdrew, tried to change everything, hoping I'd sort it out, find some deeper truth. It was mistake. I should've gone back to normal - to here and now, because that's all we can ever really count on. Things need to get back to normal in your life. And what could be more normal than me screwing with you, and you figuring it out?
Dr. Gregory House: You manipulative bitch!

Suffice to say, the acting was as ever, up to a high standard. The ending provided a superb twist, which would have been made even more effective with some foreshadowing. Medicine was tenuous to say the least, but concluded in a fairly House-esquire manner.
This episode helped tie together the abrupt departure of Penn with the end of the season looming. 7/10 - enjoyable, not the best, but entertaining nevertheless. Perhaps Cameron / Chase scenarios were overplayed, but still a good filler for the ending of the season.
