(at around 17 mins) The car's name/brand/type is visible on the dashboard from the right side. Exactly one minute later, it's gone.

During the truck chase, the Bronco's right headlight is gone as they drive down into the wash. But after emerging from the mud hole, the headlight has reappeared.

During the truck chase, they go down the street from Papi's house, make a turn, crash through a fence, and are suddenly in the desert with only a distant cliff behind them.

When Bobby and Stig are arguing over who is going to kidnap Papi, Stig drops the key's to Papi's truck on the ground. The keys he drops shown in the shot on the ground are to a Chevrolet , however Papi's truck is a Dodge Ram but this does not stop Stig from from using them to drive away in the truck.

When Earl is playing Russian Roulette with Bobby, the ammunition changes positions on the table.

Earl tells Papi that he could have Papi's place attacked by "Apache A-6" helicopters. The A-6 is a jet fighter; the Apache helicopter is designated AH-64.

Stig was referred to as AWOL, which is not a term used by the United States Navy. The Navy uses the term UA, or unauthorized absence.

Because the term UA/Unauthorized Absence falls under Article 86(Absent WithOut Leave or AWOL) of the UCMJ(Uniform Code of Military Justice) it is still a correct term. Also, since many civilians wouldn't know the Navy's term of "UA", AWOL would have been the easier explanation.

At one point in the movie, both main characters are on a Navy base in Corpus Christi, Texas - the Navy actually does have an air base there. A building explodes, and the flags burning on the pole outside are the POW / MIA flag, and the US Marine Corps flag. The Marines do not have a base anywhere in Texas, and their flag would not be displayed on a Navy base.

The USMC is a division of the USN. The USMC flag can and does get displayed at several USN bases in the US, even without their presence on base.

When Stig goes into the diner's restroom, he uses a lighter to set off a smoke detector. Smoke detectors react to smoke, not heat.

Bobby breaks the natural gas line to the stoves in the building on the Naval base. The gas as portrayed has a lot of pressure behind it, which is not the case in real life. Further, the resulting explosion takes out the entire first floor: even under that much pressure, there was not enough time for the gas to disperse that far.

When Bobby is holding Quince in his office, Quince's assistant comes in a draws his weapon. U.S. military personnel do not routinely carry sidearms on base.

Security personnel carry a sidearm. Due to the dangerous nature of his and Quince's activities, the aide is likely to carry one for potential self-defense.

When Stig approaches the guard at the truck in the desert, the guard's gun is empty since the slide is pulled back as it would be after all rounds had been fired.

1970-1974 E-body Mopars use paddle latch style door handles. The Challenger in the movie has incorrect handles installed.

When Bobby and Stig cross into Texas from Mexico, they walk through the Rio Grande which flows from their right to their left. But the Rio Grande flows east along that border, so it should be left to right when they walk north. As depicted, they're going the wrong way.

Corpus Christi, TX, is a coastal salt marsh on the Gulf of Mexico; there are no large hills or cliffs, and very little exposed rock or sand. It is more than 100 miles from the Mexico border.

When Stig is lying to the border guard he says that his aunt in Tuba City had a heart attack and later mentions that Tuba City is near Odessa. Tuba City is in Arizona. The nearest town named Odessa is in Texas, which is more than 700 miles away.

The bait shop where Stig stores his weapons and he and Bobby meet up after escaping NAS Corpus Christi is obviously not in Texas. It is against Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission law to have neon beer signs on exterior windows.

When they order breakfast Stig tries to persuade Bobby that they should leave a more generous tip because the waitress is about to be out of a job. Stig then sets the diner on fire and leaves the tip on their table as they exit. Quite how leaving paper money in a burning building is supposed to help the waitress is something of a mystery.

Bobby tells Stig that his sniper rifle is a military version even though Bobby is across the street, at night and with Stig partially hidden behind a roof ridge. Bobby could not possibly tell what version of rifle Stig has under these conditions.
