Peacock is opening the Bravo vault and bringing back classic shows beginning Monday, April 15.
Fans of The Real Housewives franchise will have more shows to watch as several spinoffs become available on the streaming service.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta has been the franchise to produce the most spinoffs, such as when cameras followed Nene Leakes getting married with the I Dream of Nene: The Wedding special. Kandi Burruss also got her special as she tied the knot on TV.
Kim Zolciak left Rhoa, but cameras continued to follow her and her family as she married Kroy Biermann with Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding, which ultimately evolved into Don’t Be Tardy for the next seven seasons.
The Grande Dame of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Karen Huger, also scored a spinoff that followed her family reunion.

Shahs Of Sunset and other Bravo shows are heading to Peacock. Find out if your favorite canceled Bravo show will be available to stream.
Stream Canceled Real Housewives Show
More and more people are cutting the cable cord and watching their shows on streaming services. Bravo shows used to be available to watch on Hulu. But with the creation of the Peacock streaming platform, all NBC shows moved to Peacock. NBC and Bravo are owned by the same company.
So, now Bravoholics can stream new episodes on Peacock the next day for shows like Vanderpump Rules, the Real Housewives franchise, Below Deck, and more.
But Hulu hasn’t gotten completely out of the reality TV genre. They recently debuted Lisa Vanderpump’s new show, Vanderpump Villa.
While current seasons of the Real Housewives are on Peacock already, what about the specials featuring stars from various franchises, such as Rhoa‘s Kandi Burruss and NeNe Leakes?...

Peacock wants to get nostalgic with some of Bravo’s most famous past titles, including ‘The Rachel Zoe Project,’ ‘Million Dollar Listing’ and more.
The 2023 strikes from Hollywood’s biggest actors and writers’ unions were eminently avoidable, but studios chose to play hardball with union reps and force work stoppages. TV networks and streaming services are just now getting their scripted titles back on screens, but Peacock is pulling a move that might make audiences think the strikes are still going! This month, Peacock will be adding over 15 titles pulled from the pile of unscripted reality shows from Bravo’s past; old fan-favorites like “The Real Housewives of D.C.” and many more are coming to the platform in April.
Newly imported Bravo titles will begin arriving on Peacock on April 15. Sixteen titles have been announced for the rollout, and Peacock pledges that more will be included. Peacock is already home...

For 11 seasons now, Robert Irvine has hosted Food Network's "Restaurant Impossible." From its inception, the show followed a familiar format: a chef goes in to a failing restaurant, criticizes things, yells a lot, makes over the place, and leaves. That format was first popularized by Gordon Ramsay in "Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares," and then destroyed by Fox with its Americanized version. Since then, it seems every cable network needs to have their own version, sometimes with a twist ("Bar Rescue," "Tabatha's Salon Takeover"). While those shows can be light, predictable, formulaic fun, "Restaurant: Impossible" rises to the top of that heap. Here's why Robert rules. Robert Irvine asks simple questions that people can't answer. Robert Irvine is the best at calmly asking questions that get right to the core of the problem and tell us everything we need to know about why a restaurant is failing. For example, almost every episode,...

Head to the weirwoods, pray to the new gods, eat a horse heart, sacrifice somebody to R'hllor, and drown yourself for good measure — whatever it takes to get Viola Davis on Game of Thrones. Davis tells TV Guide that she'd "love" to be on Got. "I'd want to play a character like Diana Rigg — like a really great, no-nonsense, formidable queen. But I want to kill somebody. With a spear." Rigg plays master maneuverer and salty broad Olenna Tyrell, who hasn't killed anyone with a spear … yet. Type faster, George R.R. Martin. In case you needed more reasons to be super-pro–Viola Davis, she also admits that she loves Snapped and Tabatha's Salon Takeover. "I want people to think I'm a very serious actress who watches very serious things … but I love Tabatha, because she is hardcore." From here on out, consider Davis's How to Get Away With...

I fell hard for Tabatha's Salon Takeover a few years ago, in which an efficient blonde lady visits filthy, debt-plagued salons and admonishes their owners for being such trash humans. I enjoyed Tabatha Takes Over, which expanded the admonishment beyond salon owners. I prefer the British version of Kitchen Nightmares, but the American one works, too, especially when the American chefs look infuriated, rather than chastised, as Gordon Ramsey aggressively berates them and calls their food dog shit. I like hearing the insane amounts of debt people are in because it makes me feel better about my finances, and I like seeing how dirty people's workplaces are because it makes me feel better about my housekeeping. Plus, I learn a little something about how to stir risotto. But those shows always make me a little sad, too, because the hosts are so mean, and the businesses so derelict — are people...

Happy Monday! Thanks to Heather Hogan for Brewing for me last Friday.
Kristene Chapa is having a difficult time moving past her being shot in the head while her girlfriend was killed last year in Texas. She told a reporter, "‘There are still times where I find myself scared, wondering if they’re going to come after me. I’m always looking around, seeing if I recognize anyone. ... Every day I think about her. I pray for her, just for her to watch over me." Thinking of you Kristene!

Good morning! After last night's season finale, I'm sorry to say that this entire season of Game of Thrones was devoid of any lesbian content. I'm sorry if that was a spoiler, but I felt like you should know.
Did you catch Jane Lynch on The Tony Awards last night? She did her Miss Hannigan and, well, it was amazing.
The New York Times claims Lindsay Lohan is writing Samantha Ronson from rehab in hopes of getting her back. Consider the source.
Stephanie Hunt who played lesbian Devon on Friday Night Lights was part of the show's reunion at the Atx Television Festival this weekend.
This will probably be forever be my favorite photo that The L.A. Times has ever run. F yeah Dykes on Bikes!
Nike has some really sweet new rainbow kicks in the name of equality.

Good morning!
Lily Tomlin plays Tina Fey's mom in Admission. That's a must-see come March!
Because we'll be taking some time off for the holidays next week, we won't be posting Morning Brew. But we will be putting up our year-in-review posts, aka the best and worst of lesbian visibility in movies, TV, books, music and politics. So make sure to come see us when you're done opening gifts and drinking eggnog.
African actress Chinyere Okoye says she is tired of lesbian rumors and that if she was gay, she'd just come out and say it. So would I! I'm a lesbian. That should stop the rumor mill.
The best thing about all the tabloid articles about Amber Heard and Johnny Depp's possible romance is that they can never make up their minds about what "sources say.

Good morning, Brewbies!
I'm glad you're here!
After Lea Michele tweeted a photo of herself and Chris Colfer reunited at last on the New York set of Glee, Vulture visited the set to see if the Kurt and Rachel Show is really turning into the long-fabled spin-off Ryan Murphy has been teasing since like 1998. Their verdict: Yeah, probably. And apparently things are a lot racier in a 9:00 timeslot outside of Ohio. The article mentions a lot of humping and grinding and hands headed "downtown" during Rachel's performance of "Oops! I Did It Again." It's Glee all grown/raunched-up.
Elsewhere in Lima: "When we wandered back to Brittany’s bedroom in Ohio, the track for Spears’s super sad break-up song “Everytime” kicked in. There was Heather Morris lying face-down on her bed, miserable without Santana, who’s far away and cheerleading for the University of Louisville.

Good morning, Brewbies! Trish Bendix is on a much-deserved vacation so I'll be Brew-ing it up for you this week.
Amber Heard is featured in the women's fall fashion issue of T: The New York Times Style Magazine. In addition to looking fierce, Heard talked about her upcoming role in Robert Rodriguez's Machete Kills, saying her character is "a punch-throwing, gun-shooting, crown-wearing, sash-bearing, beauty-pageant Barbie with a twist." I hope the twist is that she's a raging homosexual!

Tabatha Coffey is one tough broad. The former "Shear Genius" conestant whipped so many hair salons into shape on three seasons of "Tabatha's Salon Takeover" that Bravo expanded her business makeover realm. With the fourth season, Coffey is now taking over and making over all kinds of businesses on "Tabatha Takes Over" (Tuesdays, 10 p.m. Et on Bravo). Ellen DeGeneres doesn't always address personal stuff on her show, but yesterday she discussed both Prop 8 and the One Million Moms who have been campaigning against her new gig with Jc Penney. Here's what she had to say.

It's Friday guys! Party.
Yesterday on The Talk, Aisha Tyler said the only time she's drank alcohol while working was when she was going to be kissing another woman on screen and the other woman was nervous and suggested they have some screwdrivers. The only movie I know that Aisha kissed another woman in was .45, and she got a little steamy with Milla Jovovich. By process of elimination, I think it's her! Now you all know that Milla likes screwdrivers.
Syd tha Kid discussed Odd Future's being dropped from the bill at an Australian music fest, Big Day Out, because of their homophobic and misogynistic lyrics. She doesn't seem to agree with the promoters.
It’s ignorance at its finest. If they really knew what Odd Future was they wouldn’t have been able to pull us from the bill for being homophobic. They’re calling us homophobic, okay, for using homophobic slurs?...

I've been telling you about Self-Evident Truths a lot, but it's because it's a rad project. Now they are raising money for their video component. Check out the video and then visit their Kickstarter page. Amber Heard wants you to.
In an interview with xoJane, Kreayshawn says she is currently asexual because she only does it with people she loves. If it weren't for her drug use and poor grammar, she might have been a good role model!
I just found out that there's going to be a remake of Foxfire. I'm not even joking. This version (which stars "five unknowns") is supposed to follow the original novel by Joyce Carol Oates more closely and is directed by French filmmaker Laurent Cantet. I'm assuming that means Jenny Shimizu doesn't make a cameo.
One person who is in the remake is Ali Liebert, who is currently starring in the Canadian TV series Bomb Girls.

For Season 4, "Tabatha's Salon Takeover" has been expanded and renamed "Tabatha Takes Over" (Tue., 10 p.m. Est on Bravo). This allows Tabatha Coffey to take over more than just salons, and to help other small businesses. Still, for this season premiere, she stuck with the familiar in helping Suzanne with her salon in Minneapolis, Minn: Jungle Red.
What she saw in hidden camera footage before asking for the keys was shocking for both Tabatha and Suzanne. The salon owner admitted that she sometimes offers alcohol to her clients for special occasions, but she never expected to see anyone on her staff imbibing.

Love 'em and leave 'em. It seems to work for Brad Goreski, former assistant to celeb stylist Rachel Zoe and now the star of his own series on Bravo. It was just one of the 11 new programs and five returning series Bravo announced for its 2011-2012 season on Wednesday (March 30).

Other highlights include a new series for "Flipping Out" star Jeff Lewis, a spinoff show for "Salon Takeover's" Tabatha Coffey, a New York spinoff of "Million Dollar Listing," and a new show for "Project Runway" alum, designer Chris March. We couldn't have lunch with "Tabatha's Salon Takeover" star and Bravo's hair styling maven, Tabatha Coffey, without asking her what she thought of the latest hair trends.
On her Bravo show, Coffey regularly has the hair models bring in pictures of celebrities whose hair they like.
So, we had to ask Coffey which celebrity hairstyle her clients have been asking for most. It didn't come as too big a surprise for us that Lauren Conrad, from MTV's "The Hills" and who's working on a new reality show for the network, is big among Coffey's clients.
"She's kind of done this thing now where it's a little darker through the top," Coffey tells Zap2it. "And then it's lighter on the ends. She has that very beachy, casual wavy, flicky hair thing that girls like now.
She adds, "They really like her color, because it's low maintenance. So, it doesn't look like it's necessarily grown out.

We think you'll agree with us that the salon owners in Monday's (Dec. 13) episode of "Tabatha's Salon Takeover" were all kinds of nuts. And by nuts, we mean this has to be a reality show. You can't write this kind of crazy.
So, when we had lunch with Tabatha Coffey, we had to get her take on the strangest moments from the episode.

We've seen Tabatha Coffey lose it on her Bravo show, "Tabatha's Salon Takeover," before, but Monday's (Dec. 13) episode definitely tested her limits.
"It was so sad," Coffey tells Zap2it. "That was a very hard week. I still have not recovered."
In the episode, Coffey visits a salon with every reason to be successful - except for its pretentious owners.
"It's in the town of Brentwood [Calif.], crazy, crazy real estate," Coffey says. "Beautiful little town. Amazing location. Everything about it was a million dollar salon. Everything should work, except for them. It was insane to me."
These salon owners are unlike we've ever seen before (you'll believe us after you've seen the episode). Among all their excuses, it was the wife's need to remind us of her educational accomplishments that will drive you (and, apparently, Coffey too) nuts.
"If she told me she was Kappa Luma Latra, whatever, one more time,...

Some bite-sized TV news for your Tuesday:
Fox isn't ordering any more of "Lie to Me" this season -- but that doesn't necessarily mean the show is canceled. It will complete its 13-episode order by the end of January, after which "The Chicago Code" takes its timeslot; the network will make a decision on "Lie to Me's" future closer to upfronts time in the spring. [Deadline]
The CW has a "Glee"-esque musical series in development, but it's focused more on rock 'n' roll. It's tentatively titled "The Prickly Spheres" and is about a musician who turns down a Julliard scholarship and joins an indie-rock band in Minneapolis. Music manager and producer Jeff Kwatinetz ("Royal Pains") is among the executive producers. [Vulture]
"The Middle" just expanded a little bit. ABC has tacked on two episodes to the season order for the comedy, bringing its total to 24. [TV Guide]

Tabatha Coffey is back tonight with her tough love,no-holds-barred approach to whipping hair salon owners into shape in seasonthree of Tabatha's Salon Takeover. She has been in the hair business since shewas 14 years old, and she shares her 25 years of experience with other stylistsas she travels the country saving struggling businesses from near failure.
Tabatha rose to fame as the edgy, villainess on Bravos'Shear Genius and although she was eliminated in week six for not being a teamplayer, the fans adored her. In fact she took home the $10,000 Fan Favoriteprize at the end of her season. And it is that attitude that keeps her fansflocking back to Tabatha's Salon Takeover. Since she has only one week totransform the fledgling businesses into functioning, pleasant workenvironments, she does not hold back on her criticism of the salon owners oremployees, driving many to tears.

When Zap2it had lunch with "Tabatha's Salon Takeover's" host and hair-whisperer Tabatha Coffey in New York City, we were surprised to learn just how unlike a diva Tabatha really is.
"I'm a no-frills kind of girl," she tells us. "I like to take care of myself. I'm very self-sufficient."
Here we were envisioning the "Tabatha bus" crossing the country with Bravo's film crew and Tabatha's entourage, but we couldn't be more wrong. In fact, the production tries to lay low when it hits town to make sure the surprise we see on the salon owners' faces are real. Tabatha tells us she travels with only one real indulgence.
"There's no 'Tabatha bus.' There's no limo. There's no town car. There's none of that, which I'm totally fine with," she says. "I press my own clothes. I pack my own suitcases. I schlep them. I do have a makeup artist,...

The name Tabatha Coffey tends to incite fear, excitement and intimidation in the hearts of those who have seen her on Bravo's addictive series, Tabatha's Salon Takeover. The fiery Aussie with platinum blond hair is known for having a tongue that is sometimes sharper than her scissors.
What you can't tell from watching her on screen is that she is funny, warm and absolutely charming. What I've just come to realize after speaking with her is that her honesty is used, not as a way to cut people down, but as a way to hold them up to a mirror and show them their own true potential.
For the next three days, the out reality show star will be joining the Off-Broadway cast of My Big Fat Italian Gay Wedding. We got a chance to catch up with her to talk about her role in the play, as well as...

In our annual Visibility Awards, we formally recognize the people who have positively or negatively impacted lesbian and bi visibility in American entertainment during the year. (See previous years here: 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004.)
From Best Movie to Worst Song to Lesbian/Bi Woman of the Year, these awards recognize the television shows, movies, music, books and people who entertained, inspired, or disappointed us in 2009.
Last year, some of the category winners were chosen by both the AfterEllen.com staff and AfterEllen.com readers. This year, AfterEllen.com staff and contributing writers chose the winners for each category, as readers will be given the opportunity to vote on a wider range of topics and categories in our first annual Lesbian/Bi Women's Choice Awards in January.
Once again this year, we've included international people, shows and movies as a reflection of the increasing awareness of lesbian and bisexual visibility around the world made possible by the Internet.

In 2009, the number of leading lesbian characters on primetime broadcast TV doubled — from one to two.
Out of the estimated 600 lead and supporting characters on network TV, seven of them of are lesbian or bisexual. And of those seven, five of them kissed women last year. And of those five, three of them made out during Sweeps.
Things looked bleak at the beginning of the year, but with the growing trend of lesbian brides getting gunned down or cheating on their wedding days, and the continued trend of bisexual characters only expressing their same-sex attraction during Sweeps, and the loss of Showtime's lesbian drama The L Word, we're ending the year on a downward spiral in terms of lesbian visibility.

The most surprising story in 2009 was the relationship between Callie Torres (played by Sara Ramirez) and Arizona Robbins (played by Jessica Capshaw) on Grey's Anatomy.

Ali tells the remaining six contestants that they will be asked to motivate and inspire other people, so their first challenge this week is to give a speech to an audience. To help prepare them, they will each be getting a makeover courtesy of Project Runway star Tim Gunn and Tabatha Coffey from Tabatha's Salon Takeover. Rebecca becomes emotional during her session with Tim when she realizes that it is no longer difficult trying on clothes. "I don't think people understand what it's like to put clothes on when you're a fat girl," she explains. "It's just saying goodbye to that... it's overwhelming." She also jokes to Tim that he isn't allowed to cover her up. The contestants later gather to give their speeches in front of 300 people, including Bob and Jillian. They each get a pep talk from Tim and are treated (more)...
