Part of the closing credits take place in a sequence of X-symbols, chromosomes and DNA strands (reminiscent of the opening credits to Dr. No (1962)).
SPOILER: The X-Films' title sequences features a weapon used by the villain of each film, backed by the X-Men's Cerebro device.
In this film the title appears on the side of the Nazi coin Shaw gives to young Erik Lensherr, which he later uses against Shaw. Also, as this is a prequel, Cerebro does not appear.
As part of the opening credits, there are shadows silhouetted against a background of a latitudinal height marker (LHM for short), the background commonly used for police lineups and mugshots. This is one of two widely used logos for Bad Hat Harry Productions, the American film and television production company founded in 1994 by producer and director Bryan Singer. It is doubtless inspired by Singer's first big hit, The Usual Suspects," which he directed that year.
