Excellent Documentary, Title Though, Very Misleading!
This was a great documentary. I don't like the title of the documentary because it is not the last days of Richard Pryor. It talks about his career and his childhood and the abuse he suffered. Therefore it should not be titled the last days of Richard Pryor, and it didn't even discuss his last days, he talked about him getting MS but it didn't go any further. They should correct the title, but it was a very good documentary, it made you feel for Richard, it made you feel his pain and understand him! Myself growing up in n
an abusive childhood, I appreciate him making me laugh, Come to find out, he grew up in a brothel, an abusive childhood as well, which turned him to Comedy! His exact words were my childhood was hell because I had no one to talk to, my God! I sure can relate to that. Well thank you Richard for talkin to us, and we listened! God bless you Richard Pryor, thank you for making us laugh and forget our pain!
P. S. I took a star off for the misleading title, like I said before it doesn't discuss his last days, it talks about his childhood and how he got into comedy in the first place. That's why I made it a 9, instead of a 10.
