Zachery Ty Bryan is making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Police arrested the former Home Improvement actor in Eugene, Ore. on Friday, July 28, following an altercation with an unnamed woman, according to a report from Entertainment Weekly.
The one-time sitcom star, 41, reportedly assaulted a woman, whose name was not released. When police arrived at the residence, Bryan was no longer there. He was later tracked down and booked on charges of felony assault.
The incident comes nearly three years after Bryan’s arrest in October 2020, also following a domestic violence incident. In that case, he was accused of assaulting his 27-year-old girlfriend, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, and taking her phone away when she attempted to call 911. He was booked on a felony charge of strangulation and misdemeanor charges of assault in the fourth degree and interfering with making a report, Us Weekly reported at the time.
Cartwright and Bryan are still a couple,...

Home Improvement was one of the most popular sitcoms on television in the mid-90s. The show followed the Taylor family and their misadventures with home improvement projects. One of the key members of the Home Improvement cast was Taran Noah Smith, who played the youngest son, Mark.
While Smith left acting behind after the show ended, he has found success in a surprising new career. He now works for Elon Musk after creating a vegan cheese.

Today's MPAA ratings bulletin includes your latest PG-13 rating for a Marvel movie, this time it's Iron Man 3 with its sci-fi violence and suggestive content as well as the already released Welcome to the Punch. However, there are a couple of other interesting titles, first is Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing, which will hit theaters on June 7, but will first serve as the opening night film at the 2013 Seattle International Film Festival on May 16 with Whedon and stars Alexis Denisof, Amy Acker, Nathan Fillion and Clark Gregg expected to attend the red carpet premiere. Finally we have Saving Mr. Banks from The Blind Side director John Lee Hancock starring Tom Hanks as Walt Disney, telling the 14-year courtship for the rights to Mary Poppins from author P.L. Travers (Emma Thompson). The film is set for a December 20 release, but I wonder, with Captain Phillips coming up as another Hanks starring vehicle,...

Thor: Hammer Of The Gods
Stars: Zachery Ty Bryan, Mac Brandt, Daz Crawford, Alexis Peters | Written by Steve Bevilacqua, Rafael Jordan | Directed by Todor Chapkanov
Vikings always seem to interest film makers, we’ve had the classic Kirk Douglas movie, we’ve even had the comic Erik the Viking, and we’ve had the 3D “spectacle” that was Beowulf. Now that we have moved into super hero territory with the most recent Thor film we’ll also get the smaller lower budget versions that don’t try to make Thor an alien but the God that he was in the original legends.
In Thor: Hammer of the Gods Thor is in fact a human character who along with a small group of other Vikings including his brothers invades an island looking for riches. All they find though is a group of people who are being terrorised by creatures that could...

Mid-July is going to be a good time for DVD and Blu-ray releases featuring people getting eaten alive. Dinocroc and Supergator take time out between rounds to devour anyone in their path. Native American lycan legends go on the prowl in Maneater and Monster Wolf. Most importantly, the Australian Open Water-ish shark thriller The Reef finally surfaces on American shores.
The people chomping begins on July 12th when Anchor Bay releases the Roger Corman produced, Jim Wynorski directed, Syfy original creature feature Dinocroc vs. Supergator (review here). The late David Carradine makes one of his final appearances in this monstrous smackdown that sees genetically engineered reptilian rivals escaping their confines and chomping their way through a series of scientists, tourists, and bikini babes in Hawaii. The actors chew the scenery almost as much as the monsters.
E1 Entertainment will release Maneater to DVD on July 12th. Dean Cain stars as a former FBI profiler,...
