It is the penultimate episode and it only now that a plot is developing.
Daniel Feeld goes to see Sandra Sollars and meets her mother. A disfigured and a rather hysterical woman.
Daniel discovers just what a monster Pig Mallion can be and Sandra is looking for revenge.
Director Nick Balmer is also being snared into a blackmail plot cooked up by Mallion with Linda Langer (Keeley Hawes) being the honeypot.
Somehow the whole thing is still underwhelming. The mixture of fiction and nonfiction just leaves the whole thing hazy. It has themes about a writer manipulating events that Potter explored in Blackeyes but with less nudity.
It is notable that Karaoke was an early role for Keeley Hawes and it is Keeley who has become the bigger star instead of Saffron Burrows.
