Hope Davis' portrayal of defence attorney Mia Nesky has finally compelled me to write a review of this enlightening show. There were so many great episodes and storylines (in the first 3 seasons) that writing about any single one would be unfair to all others, but this one has finally made me drop my compunctions.
There are several moments in the episode that would anyway make it a memorable one for viewers, but it is the way those moments are handled by Davis that take one's breath away. The way the realization creeps into her eyes when Paul explains the subconscious choices she's made over the years is a sight to behold. Superb acting.
Overall Season 2 was quite a tense one, the stakes seemingly higher than S1, and lighter moments were at a premium. That does not mean it was not entertaining though. Kudos to everyone involved.
