After executing militant Bilawal Wani in Kashmir, Major Gautam arrives in Uri to take over from Major Rishab Sood. In an exclusive interview with journalist Namrata, JeM commander Abu Hafeez threatens to retaliate.
Namrata seeks help from Fakruddin to obtain on-ground information. At nightfall, four infiltrators attack the Uri base camp. In a fierce standoff between the soldiers and the terrorists, Major Rishab Sood takes a bullet.
PM orders for a swift investigation under NSA Malviya's supervision. Namrata reports an Army operation in Sukhdar village, thus impeding the investigation's big lead. The PM takes a firm diplomatic measure in retaliation.
With the help of an informant, NIA Chief Ali Raza gets the coordinated JeM attack confirmed. NSA Malviya instructs the Army Chief to come up with a foolproof plan of action. Major Videep Singh is selected to formulate and execute the plan.
Major Videep Singh puts his team together, submits his plan, and moves incognito to Uri with the team. NSA Malviya distracts Namrata through a false bait. PM is presented with Major Videep's covert surgical strike plan inside PoK.
Fakruddin is caught spying on the army and arrested. Namrata is subsequently fired from her job. Meanwhile, Major Videep establishes contact with an inside source in Abu Hafeez's camp, to help identify possible targets across the LoC.
Major Gautam gets an unexpected call to join the mission. Abu Hafeez makes an unplanned visit to Kotla. The news reaches Malviya, PM takes a leap of faith and Operation Uri is signed off with Kotla being added to the list of final targets.
After navigating many obstacles, Major Videep and his team arrive near Kotla. Upon receiving intel that Abu Hafeez is staying not far away, Major decides to stay behind enemy lines for a day to fulfill the mission's entire objective.
Major Videep and team launch a successful strike and eliminate Abu Hafeez. Pakistani military gets alerted, but the team tactfully evades them by planting a radio decoy. They cross the border and complete the mission with zero casualties.
