Just went back on YouTube to watch this, the second episode of King Features' animated series "The Beatles". Once again, the animation and stories being written around the Fab Four's song catalog are way lame. "Do You Want to Know a Secret" has the Mop Tops going to an Irish cabin where they encounter a female leprechaun. Yes, she leads them to a pot of gold but with conditions. Next is the sing-a-long segment with John introducing, with Ringo getting a kangaroo with boxing gloves adding "punch", "A Hard Days Night" with still drawings of John with a dog illustrating the "working like a dog" line and then "I Want to Hold Your Hand" with Ringo first bringing a ballot and then dressing like a ballerina to illustrate John's mentioning it being a ballad. Finally, there's "If I Fell" with John being brought to a Frankenstein-like castle because Igor got a "Beatle's" brain when his master meant a "beetle's" one! The only really amusing part was when the monster "sings" the title song. Once again, I urge you to approach this series with very low expectations and not expect great animation nor good storytelling. Oh, and while I didn't mention it the last time, I think the one who did Ringo's voice came closest to the one of an actual Beatle...
