First, in the City, Curious George loves to play with Chef Pisghetti's winter mobile, but once winter ends, Chef Pisghetti takes it down, so Curious George decides to create his own mobile of spring fruits.
Now, outdoors, Curious George meets three balancing acrobats, the Zucchinis, family friends of Chef Pisghetti, who come by to order food for their rehearsal. While Chef Pisghetti prepares their pizzas and pie, Gnocchi, Chef Pisghetti's pet Cat, doesn't see what Curious George finds tough about balancing on a fence, but Curious George wonders how the Zucchinis do it.
Well, Chef Pisghetti hands Curious George three pizzas and a pie to deliver to the Zucchinis, so Gnocchi, Chef Pisghetti's pet Cat, accompanies Curious George, as he crosses Endless Park, to find Betsy and Steve's playing seesaw, Curious George waving to them, causing Steve to move closer to the center to balance with Betsy, which also teaches Curious George a thing or two about balance.
Then, when Curious George arrives at circus tent, Zucchinis invite Curious George to join them in balancing, but Leo the male Zucchini is allergic to cats, causing him to sneeze, and so Gnocchi, Chef Pisghetti's pet Cat, is sent outside, but she is determined to return inside.
And then, Claire, one of the two female Zucchinis, or the other unidentified one, falls from the high wire when Curious George carries a mop upon it to attempt to balance, but somehow doesn't, and so off he falls off, as well!
Well, Aunt Margaret, Betsy, Steve, the Man with the Yellow Hat and Chef Pisghetti all attend opening night for the Zucchinis' performance, but so does Gnocchi, Chef Pisghetti's pet Cat, who slips inside the tent.
Now, the Zucchinis invite Chef Pisghetti to perform on the high wire, balancing upon Leo upon unicycle with Claire and the other female member's hanging from either side, with Chef Pisghetti's balancing upon Leo's shoulders, as Leo drives the unicycle across the high-wire rope!
But when Gnocchi, Chef Pisghetti's pet Cat, climbs onto the high wire, this causes another allergic reaction for Leo, and it would seem as though Chef Pisghetti and the Zucchinis may be doomed unless Curious George is able to save the day, by trying to lure Gnocchi from lounging upon the high-wire before them.
So, will Aunt Margaret, Betsy, Steve, the Man with the Yellow Hat and the rest of the audience receive more than they may have bargained for, as Gnocchi tries to decide which way to turn, toward Chef Pisghetti and the Zucchinis, or toward Curious George, as Curious George and the Zucchinis remain "Unbalanced?"

Next, in the Country, winter begins with a windy day, so the Man with the Yellow Hat reminds Curious George to wear his coat outside when Curious George goes to visit Ma Rabbit and Bill's Bunnies: Fuzzy, Whitey, Brownie, Spotty, Black Ears, Cotton Tail, and Herbert Nenninger.
But the bunny hutch is empty upon Curious George's arrival, when Bill the Country Neighbor Boy explains that he brought them inside from the cold, and now Bill must take his Bunnies to his grandmother's, to leave them at her nice and warm residence for the winter, because his parents will not allow them to stay inside their house. But would Curious George please feed Jumpy Squirrel?
Well, a disappointed Curious George decides to tend to Jumpy Squirrel, who gathers seeds and nuts, and Curious George will now allow winter to stop them from fun activities, and so Curious George fills a pool with water to play with his toy dolphin, but the water's too cold to dip.
Then, the Man with the Yellow Hat returns from his shopping trip with really good hot cocoa, to find Curious George's soaking in a warm bath, and so the Man with the Yellow Hat makes nice warm cocoa.
And then, the next day feels like the coldest day of the year, so the Man with the Yellow Hat reminds Curious George to wear his scarf, but Curious George doesn't allow the chilly wind to stop him from having fun, and so he lounges in a lawn chair in his coat and scarf and sunglasses and blows bubbles for Jumpy Squirrel.
But the bubble freezes and frightens poor Jumpy Squirrel when Curious George presents the bubble for Jumpy Squirrel to burst, and the Dolphin freezes inside the icy pool, causing Curious George to slip onto the very large ice cube. So, the Man with the Yellow Hat makes Curious George another pot of nice hot cocoa to defrost.
Now, Curious George then fills six empty cartons and a balloon with water to freeze for bowling, but Jumpy Squirrel adds nuts to the cartons, and the Man with the Yellow Hat tells Curious George that tomorrow will be even colder as he tucks him into his nice warm bed for the evening.
Well, the next morning, the Man with the Yellow Hat reminds Curious George not to forget his hat, before he goes ice bowling, but as Curious George has fun, Jumpy Squirrel descends from his tree to claw his frozen nuts from the ice pins, so Curious George slices the ice pins with a mallet, to play ice hockey with Jumpy Squirrel, and then he refills the cartons for more fun tomorrow.
So, the next morning, the Man with the Yellow Hat reminds Curious George that he doesn't need the hat and scarf because it's warmer today than before, and the Man with the Yellow Hat tells Curious George that they're expecting a ton of snow tonight, so now will Curious George be content to realize how he spends those cold winter days awaiting the first snowfall, as "Curious George vs. Winter?"
